DarienLaker Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I actually like Darien Lake's Viper and Ride of Steel!
DarienLaker Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 ^Were you expecting me to say "Tony Hawk's Big Spin"? Well thing is that I have a weird obsession with a coaster that I've never rode and I wanted my guilty pleasure rides to be rides that I've actually rode in real life.
GCI Wooden Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 ^I think he was shocked that you said something about Darien Lake.
DarienLaker Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 ^It figures, my guilty pleasure park and home park is Darien Lake!
Manic Monte Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Sorry, but my guilty pleasure ride is SFMM Green Lantern. I love it. I love just sitting and watching it as it eats unsuspecting guests. Â It's also a surprising, slightly terrifying ride.
XII Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Zamperla Volares. They're not THAT bad, plus there's some hang time in the inline twists. Far from the best rides out there, but I can think of so many coasters worse.
jbottgen Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Calico Mine Train at Knotts. Even with the new rehab, it is still my guilty pleasure.
Mr.Peabody Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 The Moose on the Loose ride at Darien Lake. It may be a kid's ride, but it's fun.
BeansproutMidget Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 All Wave Swingers/Sky Screamers/ Windseekers  Scramblers  Flyers  Dominator
larrygator Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I almost forgot about Mad Houses/Haunted Swings
detigerfan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I like: Vekoma Boomerangs (Seriously, I don't find them that bad) Wild Mouses Any type of water ride
Movieguy Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 They're mostly all gone, but I still regard the old EPCOT center rides as my biggest guilty pleasure. I dig up Martin's retrospectives and watch them all the time. I hear so many people outside of this community mocking the old EPCOT, especially the things that remain, like Universe of Energy and Spaceship Earth, but they'll always have a special place in my heart. Horizons and World of Motion especially.
cfc Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 ^I liked Horizons, too, but never got to experience World of Motion.
mike541x Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Trailblazer at Hersheypark. I really like the setting for this ride.
Movieguy Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 ^ I liked that ride's setting as well, though it was tough to find where the queue started. Hersheypark has kind of a confusing layout, to me anyway.
Kyle Coleman Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I actually really liked thunderhawk at dorney and ended up riding it three times the day I was there. I feel no shame.
xChris125x Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Currently Viper at SFMM. Enjoying the Arrow Mega-Loopers while they're still around.
rcjp Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I actually really liked thunderhawk at dorney and ended up riding it three times the day I was there. I feel no shame. My first ride on it, when the trim was off, was really quite fun. If it was never on I would rank it fairly higher as it does make a difference.
LDedios432 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 ^I liked Horizons, too, but never got to experience World of Motion. I really wish I got to ride Horizons! After listening to the soundtrack for the ride and seeing all of the videos, makes me think it's much more re-ridable than Mission:Space (which I enjoyed..but I feel like I've done it and I have no need to ride it again).
