wow - wow - wow

I soooooo want that add-on to the tour now, lolol. Great teaser, Robb.

The finishing fade of the music to the coaster sound was great. Loved that.

That was wonderful. I especially liked the Lisebergbahn POV, because it's so hard to find, and, I assume, take, good pictures of the layout.

It was a bit wierd, though, when the coaster hit the brakes right as the song was in a crescendo...

Awesome video! Balder and Kanonen are simply spectacular looking rides. You can really see the ejector airtime on Balder. This is sure making my mouth salivate at the thought of Coaster Expedition 6 shipping in less than a week.

Yeah, sorry, the ride was just so long that it was hard to hit the beats on EVERY beat. I'll do better next time. Sorry.

Those are three serisouly good looking coasters. I think I'm gonna have to add Liseberg to the to-do list next year at this rate!

I've never seen full pictures of Lisbergbanana, but now it's even longer than I imagined! Balder looks like a really kick-ass ride, and Kanonen looks short and sweet.

Awesome video of a awesome wooden coaster!

Kanonen looks like fun but it's very short! I can't wait to ride Balder it looks like a great coaster and it's made by my favorite ride manufacturer!

I'm glad that I'm doing the add on trip to Liseberg!:D

Yeay, I'm going to Liseberg for a weekend in less than two weeks. These videos shall be watched copiously until then.

I'm turning down a 235 Club BPB trip you know, where I could ride PMBO in the dark with the park closed with no lights, and get to see the new Nash trains close up, and hear a presentation about it, and ask questions to the people that run the place.

I just need a break, from this country, again..! :?

Come on ZIP, download faster, must be a lot of poeple wanting you..!

Wow, my first post here.

Nice timing on this, since I was at Liseberg yesterday. I live about 15 min from the park so it isn't that big of a deal though. No crowds this late in the season so there was partically no waiting time at all, 5 min for Kanonen, 10 min for Balder and 5 min for Lisebergbanan.

Is it just me or does Kanonen seem like a wild mouse on crack . It has that crazy tight feel of a wild mouse while featuring the beauty of the Intamin Rocket. Darn this stupid "Education" costing me out the bum. With the money I'll pay this year on books alone I could get a trip out there and then some. Y oh y did I choose to be a Mechanical Engineering Major. Oh yeah so that I can make about $50,000 8) a year starting straight out of college. Too bad I'll owe my first born oh well maybe they'll take my second as collateral for a trip out there (by the way I'm totally joking and I love school and my major).

Ok enough whining back to studying.

Awesome video, it had a bit of significance to me ... so I'll share what it made me think. Watching Balder I kept thinking of all the debates people are having over it's design, I personally feel like Balder is just the beginning of the new age of wooden coasters. So with Balder I see a balance of what we love of wooden coasters with new age technology, a sort of medium in history. Next up was Liesbergbanan, the apidomy of a classic steel coaster, it is smooth, has tons of turns and looks very family friendly. It is what coasters were in our recent past. Then to top it off it ends with Kanonen, the little runt of the Future that combines a thrilling ride without the bruises or headaches most of the older thrill coasters give.

This video made me get back in touch with my love of roller coasters, it seems like we as enthusiast have become so damn picky over the coasters that come out now that we don't just sit back and enjoy our ride. That's just my little epiphany I had, thanks for putting together a great video Robb and Elissa - Eric

^deep man, deep

I personally loved the video, and am extermely jealous of those lucky few who have ridden balder, kannonen, and the banana ride(coolest looking track EVER!)

if only i weren't 14...

i personally think they are way over-rated. They're great coasters but not that great. Balder and Kanonen are #13 & #15 on my list, and Lisebergbanan is not even in my top 20...

Well, one way or the other, I am glad that I am going to be among a number of coaster-enjoying peeps who will, in June, get to ride these coasters, try them out for ourself - yes!

And on the reverse of that, there's probably a few US coasters that one or two of us go GAA-GAA over, time and time again - and to the rest, it's a tossup between 'eh', "what-ever" and...... etc. Back and forth. Up and down. Almost a ride in itself, huh?

We all get a great look at some of the coasters in the world we never do get to see on those earlier (ahem) 'coaster specials' on (local US) television. And the sharing with photo trip reports is a great boon, too. Some of us may never get to ride many of these machines, whiles others will be credit whores to their dying day .

'Nuff said on my part. Looking forward to more coasters not seen too often, and more coasters not seen often enough. Cheers!

(*** I just watched the vid again. The length of these rides, geez! Amazing. And Kann is definitely a fun freaky flippin' offspring of the larger folk, LOL.)

I've never ridden a wild mouse , but yes, it kind of seems that way. One moment you're in a tight turn banked almost 90 degrees, the next it whips you into a turn the other way, also banked almost 90 degrees. That's a transition of almost 180 degrees in no time at all. When i rode it the first time in the back I thought it was almost too violent.
