ThePasswordIsPie
That baby Zero-G-Roll and the Jr. Immelmann look awesome with that theme! Too bad I'm 1 Atlantic Ocean away from that roller coaster

Angry_Gumball
Sorry I'm a bit late on the Vine compilation response but I'm actually starting to dig Vine...I actually plan on doing some stuff next week on my SoCal trip, seems to serve as a video take on a trip report. It's actually quite fun cramming a specific event into 6 seconds! Â Thanks! I really like Vine a lot! Like someone said, when I string them all together, it's sort of like a short Coaster Expedition video. That's kind of my goal from it! I plan to do more Vine videos, and like I did with this one, I'll string them all together so that people can get an idea of a week-long trip in 4 minutes. Â One of my friends/fellow TPR member told me the same thing earlier when I did my CGA compilation...I even played the "Stuck in America" song that you guys used on your old PGA video back when on another browser tab...felt very Coaster Expedition-like! caffeine_demon
^You can walk through the loop. On 1:50 you can see that bridge that goes through it.Nice that you got a mounted POV of this ride. The theming is just awesome and it seems pretty nicely paced. A bit like nemesis but quite a bit less intense. Â I found the ride varied a bit on where you sat, one seat I went on gave a superb ride! cfc
The POV really shows how the theming makes this ride--an excellent job by Phantasialand.
netdvn
I've heard a lot of reviews of people knocking the ride for being forceless despite the impressive theming. Â Phantasialand is definitely a must-visit park for me regardless.
thrillgeek
Wow that looked intense!! The sense of speed is definitely enhanced with the all theming being so close! Great video!
GrapesLie
The theming is just awesome and it seems pretty nicely paced. A bit like nemesis but quite a bit less intense. Â That surprises me. It looks like its just flying through those inversions! That first heartline roll look crazy intense! Either way I MUST RIDE THIS RIDE! Great video Rob! Thanks! robbalvey
Today's video! One of the world's top ten wooden roller coasters - Colossos at Heide Park! TyRush
I so want to ride this! Or any Intamin pre-fab other than El Toro! Is this heavy trimmed? There seem to be many little trims

It's not like on Expedition GeForce where you can really FEEL them or anything.
Whodey
I counted at least 4 trims. Still looked fun.
A.J.
Hm, does the YouTube embedder usually show in widescreen? I've never noticed it until now. Â EDIT: Wow, it does. Neat! Edited April 10, 2013 by A.J.

Coaster Curt
I am not much for themes on rides but Mamba sure looked good with it. Colossus looks like an eventual must ride for me, man I need to get to more parks.
bert425
I used to love woodies, but I think I simply aged out of them (or girthed out of them).  of course, all those years riding Rattler didn't help (and Ghostrider at Knotts almost killed me squeezing into that tiny seat just to get beat to heck). . .but I'm so glad you post POVs Robb  'cause otherwise I'd never get to enjoy Colossus.  (at least not without all my "chubby-bits" jiggling like crazy!). scbt
Probably a dumb question, but why is there a half of the statue of liberty sitting along the last set of airtime hills?
robbalvey
I counted at least 4 trims. Still looked fun. I don't really understand why people are watching a video and "counting trims" - I mean, do you not realize that some of the best roller coasters in the world have trims and it's not a big deal? It's only a big deal with a trim really TAKES AWAY from the coaster. That's not the case with Colossos. Â So congrats on counting the trims, I guess. Not sure what you're trying to prove... other than you can count to four!
EPfan1
I'd do (nearly) everything to get a ride on this woodie...sadly it's 6 hours away from my hometown But nevertheless, it looks awesome!!

BenFreeze
I have yet to ride an Intamin prefab, but they look like great coasters! For anyone who has ridden both, which would you say is better; Colossos or El Toro?
robbalvey
Probably a dumb question, but why is there a half of the statue of liberty sitting along the last set of airtime hills? Â Theme-ing! Â actually, from the Park Index here, you can see what it is: Â That's an older picture before Krake. They blew up the boat and sunk the statue as part of the announcement for Krake - like, it was devoured by the monster or something like that. So then they took the half-sunk statue and put it over by Colossos. I can't tell you exactly why, or that it makes any sense, but it was always kind of funny to be speeding by a half a statue of liberty at 60MPH! markysharky17
Intamin Prefabs are definitely the best woodies on the market. We need more!
