maliboomer Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Okay, yet another 'worst'. I would have to tie between Scream (SFMM) and X (SFMM, that is not a coincidince).
Mr.Six Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 (edited) Your Right, "Scream" is such a lame name. But I actually like "X"...it's just so...undefined. But, I'm going to have to go with..well.."Scream for the worst ride name" Edited February 24, 2005 by Mr.Six
coaster1 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Mr. Six's Pandemonium .. clear winner right there.
pupkick Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 "superman" "batman" "roller coaster" "corkscrew" Â
Red Benny Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Mr. Six's Pandemonium .. clear winner right there. Â That would be mine.. with Kingda Ka coming in a close second.
Sir Clinksalot Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 The new (redesigned Corkscrew) coaster at Alton Towers in England is going to be called... wait for it .... RITA. That's right folks, coming this summer, you will be able to RIDE RITA. Â http://www.riderita.com/
Guest Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Next year they will rename "Superman The ride" to "Xpress".(vekoma launched)
CoasterFanatic Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Best Name: Beaver Land Mine Train Worst Name: Son of Beast (How Original!) Most Appropriate Name: Headspin (GL Boomerang) Funniest Name: Wild Chipmunk Most Insensitive Name: Tsunami Most Used Names: (Dragon Wagon, Cyclone, Rollercoaster, ____ Dipper)
X Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Definatly Blackpool Pleasure Beachs Rollercoaster. Its so lame and boring.
coasters 4 me Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 oringinally, Mantis at Cedar Point was going to be called Banshee, but it was changed for religious reasons. anyway the worst name would be Scream! cause it could have been something abit more oringinal
SharkTums Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 How about putting some of these together and slapping it on top of the Stratosphere Tower...Boom! X-Scream! The truly worst name! Â Elissa "what about Dog Fart Coaster!!?!?" Alvey
Nemmy Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Roller Coaster Corkscrew Big Apple  Too many of those...GACK!  One I really hate is - Space Mountain. NO DUH! You can't love the ride at Gay Dolphin Park (no pun intended) called Wild Mouse, either. Same with Gayway's Rainbow Chaser. Gay. Rainbow. DOH! And, you won't be surprised to see two coasters named Wild Mouse there...
GAcoaster Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Sky Princess at Dutch Wonderland. Talk about a crappy name for a coaster, that's it! It always make me think WTF was their marketing department thinking, "the ultimate little girl roller coaster...an untapped coaster market...it's brilliant!"
Crazy4Coasters! Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Roller Coaster!!! Â Â Come on...give me a break!
GAcoaster Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 The Flying Coaster at SFEG. Apparently they were either laughing to hard or too embarassed to come up with anything better.
Angry_Gumball Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Screw Coaster would go for the worst name. But again, it does sound kinda funny.
Homer Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 As of now, I would have to say Mr. Six's Pandemonium.
Scaparri Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 I'm gonna have to go with GAcoaster on this one and agree that Flying Coaster is the worst. Six Flags has hit it pretty low with names like Scream, but Flying Coaster is just ridiculous. Scream is bad, but what is worse? Scream or Floorless Coaster?
WillMontu Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Screw Coaster (but at least it's more original than Corkscrew) Playstation - the Ride Batman/Superman - The Ride/The Escape, etc. - Maybe good the first time, but not the 50th
BurritoKing99 Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 i think the ones with the worst names are the coasters named "Rollercoaster"
Guest Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 It has to be Rita Queen of Speed AT's new Intamin rocket (and not the new name for the corkscrew as posted earlier on this forum) followed by Velocity Flamingo lands new Vekoma Motorbike coaster
