cfc
The SeaWorld ride vehicle looks great. I'm looking forward to this attraction quite a bit. I also like GCI's wooden shuttle concept, as it sounds like a good way to two different experiences from the same ride (and I miss how they used to run one side of Rebel Yell backward at Kings Dominion). B&MIntaminGCI
I really love the colors on that B&M Wing Coaster train.
singemfrc
Back track was interesting..wondering what mechanics are involved with having a train travel up the chain lift and then roll backwards, since from the video it looks like theyre using traditional (looking) chain lifts rather than catch-cars. DJeXeL
I was wondering how long it was going to take for a wooden shuttle coaster to pop up. I would've thought Gravity Group would've been first out of the gate but GCI has proven themselves in their "traditional" woodies so I'm excited to see one built. Did they happen to mention if any interest has been shown by any parks? ^I'm wondering that as well. Similar to Vekoma's Boomerang maybe?

I wouldn't put too much stock in the video for accuracy on the lift mechanism--they're just trying to get the concept and ride experience across. thepoint4life23
Is Back Track something that is the works for a park, or just showing that can be done?
Chroniq
Am I the only one who doesn't like shuttle coasters? --- That being said, GCI is one of the more "TPR friendly" companies and they have built some of my favorite coasters.. So I mean no disrespect, I'm just pretty sure I hate shuttle coasters.
Hilltopper39
^^^^Would it be too simple to assume that it just take one chain dog installed normally on one end of the train and one chain dog installed in reverse on the other end? Either way this looks like a great concept for any park's kids section. I'm sure the layout is customizable to fit small plots of land and it is probably available at a slightly lower price point than a full circuit model. I'm kind of interested to see how "big" GCI is willing to go with this concept, the prototype is clearly more of a family coaster but is a much larger crazier version possible? Now all I'm waiting for is a launched woodie and an inverted one. So cool to see that wooden coaster companies are really pushing the envolope of what is possible with a wooden structure. Chittlins
Backtrack is a neat concept. Smaller footprint, Nostalgia of a woody and the tameness for a good all of the family ride. A park like Silver Dollar City would be idea for a ride like this considering it'll still be without a traditional non inversion woodie. Outlaw Run will not appeal to all of the park's patrons. Likely GP pleaser but not a hit with enthusiasts.

So I mean no disrespect, I'm just pretty sure I hate shuttle coasters. I don't care for Boomerangs, but I like Premier launched shuttles. Back Track looks like a pretty good concept to me, but shuttles aren't to everyone's taste.
Ultimate
I'm not sure if any parks want family shuttle roller coasters - Vekoma have only sold 2 Family Boomerang rides.

singemfrc
I'm not sure if any parks want family shuttle roller coasters - Vekoma have only sold 2 Family Boomerang rides. But then those are Vekomas. I would like if SFDK replaced their Vekoma Boomerang with a model such as this. It's a good design for a parks like SFDK and SDC.
