cfc Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Cheetah Hunt is a very underrated ride among enthusiasts. I think it pushes the "family coaster" envelope a bit, and it's a lot of fun. Great pictures, Hanno.
Guy T. Koepp Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I rode this for the first time last week and absolutely loved it. It was one of, if not the favorite ride of the family for our whole Orlando trip.
Blue Turbo Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I really liked it when I went on it back in January. It had some good pops of airtime that I was not expecting, especially right after the first launch into the figure-8.
Meteornotes Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I really liked this ride. Way underrated in my opinion. dt
Nrthwnd Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'm pretty sure this one is on my "US Coasters Bucket List" when it was first announced, and then built. I loved the layout and especially that "tower" as part of it. I really hope I get to ride it, in the near future. Thanks for sharing the shots, Hanno!
simon8899 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Liked Cheetah Hunt a lot. My fav Busch Gardens Tampa coaster - fyi Sheikra was closed when I was there. Liked the launch and pacing, specially the S-turns before the second launch...
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 This ride must be a surprise. Haven't heard too many people talk about how great it is but it surely is a fun ride.
cfc Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 ^Some enthusiasts complain about it not being "thrilling" enough, but it was always intended to be a "family" coaster--just a really big one. The best part is when it zips over the old Rhino Rally riverbed.
FreeFaller Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 As always, awesome photos! Can't wait to check it out this year!
Blue Turbo Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 ^Some enthusiasts complain about it not being "thrilling" enough, but it was always intended to be a "family" coaster--just a really big one. The best part is when it zips over the old Rhino Rally riverbed. This. It is more family oriented, but starts to blend into more thrilling rides. That is what makes it fun to ride again and again, plus it is a great transition into the bigger rides of the park.
Hhappy Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 from my early coaster trip year's.. 06 visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach Big Dipper
FreeFaller Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I LOVED Big Dipper! It's such a traditional coaster! Fun ride!

rcjp Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 It must really be great. I love how every ride is "buried" into the theming. I have to go there soon!
