ANJLOVER14
Only the one at Knott's, but I never went on the one at Discovery Kingdom because I was too short for the height requirement. However, I've been on two GIB's, at Magic Mt. and Silverwood. Those were quality rides, I must add, unlike the Migrane-Giver (that would work as a more creative name, too! ). redfoot12
Boomerang - Six Flags Fiesta Texas (Operating 3/13/1999) Boomerang - Elitch Gardens (Operating 4/30/1999) Flashback - Six Flags Over Texas (Operating 1989) Sidewinder - Hersheypark (Operating 5/11/1991) Â Only 4 for me. The one I didn't mind the least was Fiesta Texas's.
george greenway
Its really sad when you can extract such trivial information from your coaster database. downunder
^That was intentional, many count that as two credits, and given the distribution of Boomerangs geographically - it's a good summary of people's coaster travels. There are a few up there that have been relocated 3 times - for instance, I've been on Titan, Demon, and Alabama Zoomerang, all the same piece of machinery. Â Though I must admit Asia seems 'rang deprived, but Togo was giving masochists their fix in that region, especially in Japan.
larrygator
Although I love the intensity of the loop de loop going backwards, I hate the ride. What's really sad about Wiener Prater is that their Boomerang is the best coaster in the park. Edited April 21, 2011 by larrygator
B.A.B
I only been on one, Invertigo at King Island. I love it,and I mostly ride it 10 or 8 times when I go to King Island. I know I have an fetish for Vekoma,Arrow, and Dinn.
cal1br3tto
I'm finally starting to appreciate the intensity during the backwards portion on these. Flashback at SFOT is easily my favorite, and Boomerang Coast to Coaster at SFDK is the only one that gives me (very close to) no enjoyment. downunder
^In the order of merit, you are first, not riding a boomerang is a virtue and for the best. Â This man has ridden every boomerang in the world, the first photo is before and the second is after, let that be a cautionary tale to you: I reckon this dude could even pull movie stars like Reese Witherspoon & Amanda Seyfried; but he loved Vekoma more. The decline was rapid from the repeated Vekoma head trauma.

simon8899
They're not that common in Europe - so far only two:  Invertigo - Sommerland Syd, Denmark Boomerang - Vienna Prater, Austria  If everything turns out right I'll add the one at Knotts in three weeks...  I found the Invertigo as beeing smoother than the SLCs. coasterbear30
I have ridden 6 classic... Alabama Adventure Carowinds Wild Adventures SFDK SFOT SFFT Â Just picked up the two in Texas last weekend...there is no reason for 2 boomerangs to be that close to each other. I will also pick up the Hershey one in September. Â I have also ridden 3 GIB: Invertigo-CGA Invertigo-KI Deja Vu-SFOG Â All of them are crap... dubbis
Observations so far:Â * Noxegon is TPR's most prolific masochist so far with 34 Boomerangs * Many, including me, are surprised (but thankful) we haven't ridden more. * There are probably more Boomerangs than any other adult coaster, SLC's don't even come close, though there are more vekoma rollerskaters, though not all identical. *Seeing the lack of imagination in naming Boomerangs, maybe the naming committees went for a few laps beforehand and became impaired mentally. *No Boomerangs are called Mind Eraser which is the most apt name. Â Boomerangs are not very popular here. Well i've only ridden Cobra at Power Park. My friend called it "A f***** machine from hell" La Via Volta at Walibi was closed when we visited. Should i be thankful...? I have also ridden Tornado at Sommerland Syd, probably the best Vekoma i've experienced.
