downunder
Observations so far: * Noxegon is TPR's most prolific masochist so far with 34 Boomerangs * Many, including me, are surprised (but thankful) we haven't ridden more. * There are probably more Boomerangs than any other adult coaster, SLC's don't even come close, though there are more vekoma rollerskaters, though not all identical. *Seeing the lack of imagination in naming Boomerangs, maybe the naming committees went for a few laps beforehand and became impaired mentally. *No Boomerangs are called Mind Eraser which is the most apt name. YoshiFan
I have ridden 3 Boomerang coasters Sidewinder at Hershey Sea Serpent at Morey's Zoomerang at Lake Compounce I found Sidewinder to be the worst (hopefully the new trains will improve the ride), Zoomerang to be ok and Sea Serpent to be the best of the 3 and not that rough at all. Also 1 Invertigo, Stinger at Dorney. Edited May 23, 2012 by YoshiFan
Ace Of Spades
Bat-Canada's Wonderland Boomerang-Knott's Boomerang-Coast to Coaster-SFDK Boomerang-Coast to Coaster-Elitch Gardens Boomerang-Coast to Coaster-Great Escape Oddly enough, only "B" boomerangs. I've also managed a Deja Vu and an Invertigo if those count for anything.

Pirouettes907
Only two, although that's about to change. Sidewinder - Hersheypark (Operating 5/11/1991) Flashback - Six Flags New England (Operating 5/5/2000) ^Funny, I got off Flashback wondering how it didn't beat me up. The Big So-So
I've been on one (Knott's) and I never want to go on another. But I will anyway. I expect to ride my 2nd Boomerang in a few days at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
Geauga Dog
Actually Geauga Lake's was called Mind Eraser from when it was installed in 1996 through 2003. I've been on: Mind Eraser/Head Spin - Geauga Lake Boomerang Coast to Coaster - Darien Lake Vampire - Kentucky Kingdom Boomerang - Knott's Sidewinder -Hersheypark I actually like boomerangs. The only bad one I've been on was Knott's.

The only bad one I've been on was Knott's. Cool, good to see someone in coaster naming got it right. Some of the 'rangs pull good g's on the first drop, Flashback at SFNE is one I remember being good like that, but then there's the ear bashing. The first time I went on the Knott's one, the girl in front of me thanked me - apparently the last time she had been on it the person behind her had thrown up. So I got thanked for not hurling on her.

KDcoasterMAN
^True. I only rode CC for the new restraints... Sidewinder was enough pain on its own. Hopefully now it will be better.
crazywolf88
Two: Zoomerang-my first and the smoothest so far. Sidewinder-this describes vekoma perfectly, my ride on zoomerang persuaded me to ride. I rode it last year and this year sidewinder gets new trains!! .

dippindotsguy8
^Haha Honestly, the thing I like about boomerangs (at least the ones I've ridden) is the major force you get in the back seat during the backwards portion of the ride. Mostly on the vertical loop. If it wasn't for the roughness and the ear-bashing, they would actually be great rides. Good concept, bad execution
odene497
Ugh. Bat - Canada's Wonderland Boomerang - La Ronde Boomerang - Knott's Berry Farm Boomerang - Worlds of Fun Boomerang Coast to Coaster - Darien Lake Carolina Cobra - Carowinds Flashback - Six Flags New England Sea Serpent - Morey's Piers Sidewinder - Hersheypark Zoomerang - Lake Compounce Zoomerang - Alabama Adventure Can't wait to add 5 more this summer. downunder
Is it me or are all the good boomerangs are the ones that don't exist? Boomerangs never die they just move to another land to terrorise the people like a metal Godzilla, or a trap in SAW. I looked through the list, and I could only find three that are not operating somewhere, one in Qatar, Karolineund, and Six Flags New Orleans; but SFNO and Karolineund are definitely still standing. Amazingly, SFNE's 'rang originally came from China, and Alabama Adventure's from Australia.

cal1br3tto
Some Boomerang first drops are fun. And I like cobra rolls. I sometimes really enjoy vertical loops, but they don't really do anything for me on Boomerangs. Likewise, riding backwards can be great fun, but I don't think it's anything special on these rides. I'd never turn down a credit lap, though! A lot of them do have really nice color schemes!

JJ728
I've only been on one generic boomerang: Boomerang - Knott's Berry Farm However I've been on two Invertigos and two GIB's.
