While many people voted for #4, I picked #2. #4 has too much "loudness" but #2 has the perfect amount...if that makes any sense.

It was me! I thought of it and was just going to keep it to myself 'till I happened to notice my Club TPR signature banner. I thought if you liked it on that, you would probably like it for this as well. I think it looks great!

Personally, I like the original logo for the "Theme Park Review" font best, however the new tag line is much better than the original and should be kept.

I voted for the original. In my opinion it wasn't broken so why fix it? If there were to be a change, then I would want choice three the most. I really don't like the yellow border around the words in choice two, and the thick white border around choice four just makes it seem too cartoony.

I voted for #4, because I think the borders around the letters makes it the easiest to read, and the shadow behind the type adds some depth to it. But in all honesty, I think either #3 or #4 would fit great, and I'd be happy with either.

I agree 100%!!!! This is why you don't see a lot of changes to TPR until I really feel there NEEDS to be a change.

 

In this case, I really, really, really wanted to change the tagline. And since I was going to touch the header artwork anyway, I figured might as well update it. Realistically, it's not a huge change, it's really not. It's not subtle, but it's not huge. I don't think we will lose any members because of the newish banner. And if we do, well then, that's a silly reason to leave a website over!

I'm having a hard time deciding whether I like option 3 or 4 better. Both of them look great in the first post, but at the top of the page, #4 looks kind of blurry and the colors seem a bit faded.

 

Could you put option 3 up there for a couple hours to give us a better comparison?

#4 is pretty much the same as #3 but fatter, or something. I like it, I mean I like the old one without the border, but nothing wrong with the new one, and the tag line is pretty awesome. Gimme a week and I will forget about it all together.

There's actually quite a few differences between #3 and #4. It's interesting that people don't notice them.

The voting #4 choice and the actual header posted are slightly different, no? Looks like some colors were adjusted and the tagline was resized and moved color adjusted and sharpened? (or I'm just losing my mind).

Pretty much nobody is coming here to admire the header, if you catch me admiring it, analyzing it, etc., just kick me in the nuts for being a totally pathetic with nothing else better to do. Yes, I appreciate that you guys are keeping the site new and exciting. That said, I picked one, one of the new ones, I liked it enough to vote for it. I got other things to worry about, like this bottle of scotch.

At first I have to admit I hated the new logo. It (the yellow outline) was way way way too glaring for me. The white outline looks much better IMO. With the white outline I have flashes of Disney greatness. I think it still looks too crowded with the tagline underneath the logo and has space issues...just my opinion. I would like to see the tagline underneath hard stop under the logo instead of running past the end margin. Overall it's pretty sweet though.

Eh, I voted for the old logo, the new tagline just sounds...weird to me. Not like it's gonna ruin my day though.

 

I do like the shiny white outline around the text though, that caught my eye pretty quickly!
