Nrthwnd Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Sorry Bob, I misunderstood your question. What he ^ said. (I also agree, that staying around .90 is ok. And I remember when it was just over .65!)
Blind Idiot God Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 If you're fortunate to have not done them yet, never drink a Bear Fight. For those not in the know, it's a Jagerbomb quickly followed by a carbomb, and it gets its name from the fact that within ten or so minutes of consuming it, you WILL feel as if two polar bears are locked in mortal combat inside your stomach. It's rough, to say the very least, and I should have been smart enough to have not done one last night. Bleargh. Wicked unpleasant stuff.
yay101 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I was up past midnight studying for an APUSH test and I got a 59% on it. Plus I have been getting bad grades on his other tests.
Diamondbacker27 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Well I'm currently extremely POEd because a kid in our class thinks it's funny to spit in people's hair, and today he spit in a kids hair and I told him it wasn't funny, then he slung spit across the room trying to hit me, so I punched him in the face and that caused a trip to the office.
yay101 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 ^Wow, he is a jerk, did the other guy at least go to the office?
nanimawa Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 In the space of two years, my bus ticket has gone from £17 to £19.50. It's not like wages, rent, petrol, insurance, food and tax hasn't increased at all. I know the companies can't do much about the increased fuel and maintance bills but come on, why do I bother working? The tax man has made it quite clear in no uncertain terms that he hates my guts.
urzishra Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 The amount of "hate" on the forum about drop rides. I think they are pretty fun and cool. But a lot of people find them to really suck and I haven't figured out why. Seems like any TR I read when they talk about the drop tower it is always "it was ok, not really that great." what gives?
XII Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Ugh. Of all the possible Sundays to have Easter on, it had to be THIS Sunday. The one Sunday everyone wants me around to this or that. Why couldn't this have been another Sunday when nothing is going on?
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I've never been to KI, so thank me for suggesting you where to go and tell you where the magic seats are at! I helped you planning your trip until 3:30 am and all you think is that I want a Beast T-Shirt? If you don't think Bat is great, don't blame me because I've never been on it either! Beast was retracked so whatever you say about it hasn't been retracked at all are bullsh*t! You haven't been disappointed by any B&M so far because your coaster experience is very poor and you haven't been let down by GateKeeper and X-Flight. That's why you say Banshee sucks. You haven't been on Hades360, how could you even say Beast is rougher than Hades360? One thing I cannot tolerate the most is that if you don't like TPR, that's your own opinion. If you post your negative comment of TPR on any of my social media posts, you are a di*k. I love TPR whatever you say because you don't deserve such a great community and you don't even deserve to be an enthusiast.
Coaster19 Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I need to have a little rant on one thing! There seems to be this fight with coaster enthusiasts on which club they belong to. I am tired of people bashing Club TPR because of some lame reason. If you have your reason, that is great! Congratulations I don't care why you hate :insert club name here:! (Unless there is a safety hazard or some illegal stuff going on). We are all enthusiast, why can't we all get along! I hate it when I go somewhere where there are other enthusiast and all they do is bash a club. I don't care which group you are apart of, I support your decision in advancing your desire for coasters!! I love meeting other people from other clubs! It is another benefit! I hope this never gets ruined for me!!
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 This stupid math task! Seriously College Board???
Nrthwnd Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I feel really sorry for the fans and players on The Clippers. And I am not really a fan at all, of basketball. But I thought what the players did at a recent game, was classy and just smart. Well played, guys!

Nrthwnd Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Darnit. Several TV networks announced TV shows not coming back this fall... and one of them was a recent fave of ours - The Neighbors. Was fun in the episodes and some times winking at the networks, and television in general. Great cast, and some pretty amazing writing, too. We'll miss it.
Koasterking48 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 If you have not actually visited the park you are reviewing, your opinion is automatically invalid to me. Sorry not sorry
Diamondbacker27 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 When your teacher tells you he doesn't want you in his class for the rest of the year. Because you "Talked" which was one whisper.
Comeagain? Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 When your teacher tells you he doesn't want you in his class for the rest of the year. Because you "Talked" which was one whisper. (High school Junior) When a teacher decides you're lazy, and has decided he doesn't want to teach you at all. It's his JOB. His only purpose at the school at the time was to teach his students. And he picked his favorites and who he disliked, and if he liked you, you might actually get help. If he didn't like you, then may the odds be ever in your favor.
djboss302 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Meanwhile in northern Illinois.... IT'S FREAKING SNOWING. Why???????????????????????????????????? I swear I just mowed the lawn yesterday....
VinTheAttendant Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I really don't understand people who go right for the door handle of a closed public bathroom door rather than knocking! What if the person inside had forgotten to lock the door? I was in the bathroom on a train yesterday, and some woman kept trying to open the door, even after I said I would be out shortly. She even tried calling over one of the conductors, claiming that the door wouldn't open. When I finished and opened the door, she just had this surprised look on her face and said, "Ohhhh! Someone was in there, that's why it wouldn't open. I didn't check to see if the [occupied indicator] light was on."
Blind Idiot God Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 So some inbred smashed a friend of mine over the head with a bottle at last night's Mastodon show at the Palladium in Worcester and split her head open. She has no clue who did it; if anyone who was at that show has any idea who it was, they should probably let me know.
Nrthwnd Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I get peeved from people in this site who don't keep up with their sub-titles. You know, the little but written below the title of the thread? I mean, one currently I keep reading, has it's sub as "the new Christmas Season"... and this was 20+ pages ago! Please people! I would rather look at nothing under the title, than outdated stuff. Everything needs refreshing, truth! Grrrr
DoinItForTheFame Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I hate when you are doing... Well you know what... and your partner head butts you and BREAKS YOUR NOSE... FML.
Comeagain? Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 The bars may lock on people, but It has to reach a certain point for the sensors to trigger. So they were spending way too long on each lap bar. Most trains had at least 3 to 4 guests having difficulties. I hate when manufacturers do that. Is it really that hard to have the point the sensor says it's okay to run at the same point the restraint is locked?
imawesome1124 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 So this just happened: I was watching NHL coverage, since it's the playoffs and there's a lot of big stories, and my sister decides she just wants to change the channel. My dad is in the room and does nothing to stop her, and yells at me when I say that I should be allowed to watch something if I was already watching it. She changes the channel to NCIS, which I like, I just don't want to watch it right now, and then she doesn't even pay any attention to it. She's playing on her Kindle Fire. She just decided that I don't get to watch what I want to watch. Stuff like this happens almost every day. My 14 year old sister has more freedom in this house than me.
