ebl Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I got a haircut today (well, what's left of my hair...) and the stylist's hands reeked of tobacco. If you're going to work with the public---especially in a position where you're getting, well, personal---then wash your hands! Eric
onewheeled999 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Because the school year's first dance is on the 28th, they were doing song requests during lunch today. As I walked up to it to request a rock song, I looked down at the sheet only to find either a Justin Timberlake song or some dumb rap song. I can't believe people can like that stuff. They're just talking to a little beat.
ebl Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Ants, ants, EVERYWHERE. I just can't seem to get rid of them! Eric
RctInfinity Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 ^It's basically the same situation in my house.
Manny In England Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Hundreds of channels and still nothing to watch? Its because of home shopping, religion and travel shows they take up hundreds of channels themselves. Make them go away!
ebl Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Impatient drivers. While she does OK 90% of the time, Diana is still in the learning stages of driving a car with a manual transmission and occasionally stalls at intersections. It's almost guaranteed that someone behinds us starts blaring their horn---not just a toot, but laying on it. Advice: Get over it and chill a bit. You might lower your blood pressure a bit in the process. Eric
Nrthwnd Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Our civic workers strike in Vancouver, Canada... Is still going... 66 days and counting... Yuck.
coasters 4 me Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Well, I am peeved of because I have just spent 2hrs doing Art homework. Now I am stuck doing Geography, English and Technology Coursework. And then after that, I have to revise the Future Tense for a French test tomorrow. Ugh, I hate school.
cprocks22 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 ^I know how you feel, my science teacher likes to assign hours and hours of homework about things we haven't learned, then yells at us for not knowing it. He also doesn't realize that we have other classes, and he thinks his class is the most important thing in our lives. Another thing that I absolutely hate is when people make promises they don't/can't keep. If your just so lazy that your not going to keep a promise to a friend/family member, just don't do it in the first place! If the person honestly tries then its ok, but when people just don't care about what they said then it starts to make me mad.
swampfox Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Damn cell phone alarm clock decides it's gonna fail on the day I have to get up at 8:30 for work. Sound was set to high, and the alarm was set to on for the AM time, and I wake up an hour after I'm supposed to be at work.... the alarm is going off, but with no sound. I test it to see if it's truly broken, and it works this time. Imagine that...
RctInfinity Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Okay, I had a really bad morning. There are so many ants in my kitchen all the time, and some even find a way into the cereal boxes, apparently. I got Honey Nut Cheerios for breakfast and I didn't see anything on them before and after I put on the milk. I took a few bites while watching TV when I noticed black specks in the cereal. Ants' dead bodies. Eww! Being me in the morning, I get mad/confused that I just ate some bugs. I had to wash out my bowl, choose something else (I suck at choosing things in the morning), and then make the other breakfast, which were Grits with maple syrup, and all before my I leave with my sister for school. Agh. Oh well. I heard ants are protein. I'm totally going to eat bagels now.
ebl Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 ^ Just be sure the black specks on those bagels are actually poppy seeds! And remember that some people eat chocolate covered ants. Why? Your guess is as good as mine... Eric
downunder Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Time share Seminars - a real painful way to get cheap park tickets in Orlando, just pay the full price - lessoned learned, but these people must be stopped, they are like the scientologists of real estate.
Nrthwnd Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Our city's civic workers' strike (read: NO garbage pickup) is now in it's 70th Day then
ebl Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I'm waiting for a FedEx package to arrive from my employer-to-be so I can fill out the paperwork to show up for work on Monday. And it isn't here yet... Also, I need to call a plumber so we can get our pipes/water heater checked out. Water pressure has dropped significantly as of late. I hope it's not a major/expen$ive issue. Eric
texasgiantrules Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Usually it takes about three weeks for a good roller coaster to get announced. So I haven't checked screamscape in 2 days and... when i get home there are like 30 new rides and roller coasters announced. A new coaster for my home park, the 3 parks I visited this summer, the parks i planned on visiting next summer, and my other home park.! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
coasterdude5 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Family Favorites. The younger brother who does everything right, the one you're told to be more like... The one the parents brag on and on about. That hurts. There's my rant, I don't have them that often.
socalMAN123 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Well, I don't have anything to major, but I still haven't played Halo 3 yet! I mean, it came out on Tuesday and I already know people who have beaten the game. *sigh* Maybe I'll play it on Saturday. ---Brent
Scaparri Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I just had a meltdown in the Fahrenheit thread, and surprisingly, I could care less. Though I am slightly embarrassed that I even had a meltdown over something coaster related, online.
odene497 Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 ^Nah, I wouldn't call it a meltdown. Just expressing how you felt, and I agree with it all.
Coasterlvr_nc Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 ughhhh.... right now im trying to reinstall RCT2, cause it was missing a file. After uninstalling it, it wont autorun/ install, it wont install manually, even going into the disc files doesnt do a thing, and its really starting to annoy me..... it was prolly my brother, cause he knows how to delete things, he might've deleted something off the disc....
Homer Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 The vending machine at my school. Ugh, I'm not sure if the school fixed the machine just to eat dollar bills and not give you a drink. That machine owes me two Mocha Frappucinos.

Lately, RCT3 was lagging a lot, so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall. There is this message that pops up saying random computer things and it doesn't even load anymore. I'm pissed.
