I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. My classes start tomorrow.

Started college as a Chemical Engineering major at The University of Alabama. After several schools and major changes...ended up as Journalism / Public Relations at Georgia State University.

Then went into the Hospitality industry for about 12 years before going to work in Investment Banking. Studied harder to pass the licensing exams in this field than I did for anything in college and don't use my field of study at all.

^If you don't mind me asking, which non-profit? Working for non-profits rocks!

This thread is really interesting...I hope more people do the poll so we can get a more accurate depiction of the TPR crowd!

As for me, I have a BA in Advertising with specialty in Public Relations from Michigan State -- go GREEN! Currently applying for the MBA program at the University of Central Florida and looking to start next summer.

What part of Orlando are you from? My older sister lives near Winterpark and speaking of education TC; her boyfriend, graduated from Full Sail about a year ago. Here's his website if you want to see the kind of music he produces.

I work for our area's agency on aging. So basically we help out old people to make sure they are still as happy as they were when they were young

Well, I'm currently on track for Marketing, but I'm changing over to Advertising. Strangely enough, advertising isn't in the business college at UGA; it's in the college of journalism and mass communication. Go figure, right?

It's interesting that arts, business, and engineering are out to such a huge lead over everything else. Makes me wonder if there is a reason for this.

BS degree in Exercise & Sport Sciences from University of Florida...specialized in Sports Management. I now plan annual conventions for associations and worked in bank marketing prior to that.

I am an International Studies major and I'm doing the Pre-Med track. Technically I'm gonna have a Chemistry and Biomedical Physics minor, but I can't claim a minor now. I gotta wait for graduation.

Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. The coolest placest to get an education by far, plus there are tons of internships at Disney and Universal.

I'm an education major, but with an emphasis on special education.

I'm also looking to get a double minor in both English and psychology as well, but the English minor is not one I am worried about getting however.

When I was in college my first major was Theology (no joke) with a minor in Music. After a semester it was changed to a History major with a minor in music.

I don't think they figured once I started studying theology I would actually start questioning my beliefs, but that's what happened. Weird no?
