TheCoasterKid211
Damn....how can I love Sweden before I have actually ever visited? Maybe the same way that I already love Japan despite having never been there? I relate to this 100 percent.

Stagwther
Wow! Thanks for sharing.Nice view from the top. They have work wery fast this week to get it up..follow it on their FB page. Icaros Gröna Lund and Loke Liseberg= its a pleasure to live in Sweden see all new rides grow up! i wish Gröna Lund take away "RockJet"(music express) ride in the future too..and replace it with another great ride. The roof of "Blå Tåget"(ghost train) its strong enough i think

julioot
Interesting that it uses a chain lift Also interesting to see it being installed before the tower is even topped off.
Rill'o'beily
Is this the first time we see this used on a drop tower? I cannot recall having seen it elsewhere... The only other use of chain lifts on a drop tower I've seen is Mystika at Rainbow magicland as visible in video, and But that's about it.
_koppen
That sun is gorgeous! [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew] Overall height of the tower is now reported to be 76 meters without the sun, so the drop height should be somewhere around a few meters below that. Is this the first time we see this used on a drop tower? I cannot recall having seen it elsewhere... All the larger SBF towers use them and also a few from Fabbri. Probably some more. Nrthwnd
I remember watching the group go up the Star Flyer, during the TPR 2014 Scandi Tour. And thinking... "damn I feel good to be on the ground, here". And then went and had a beer. And I'd done a Scad Tower drop twice in these Scandi tours! But still... not these towers.
