Gröna Lund Discussion Thread

p. 41 - new expansion opening in 2024!

^I'm trying to make out the difference in this photo, from the one above it...

So the Covered Exit Slide from the Fun House is not there, now?

Or have they figured out another exit to work with the Fun House?

Or, as I see in the pic now, those stairs at the back/left to Exit from the House?...

It will be interesting to see how many trees and games they have to take out for this. I have faith in Grona Lund though to make it work and keep the nice feel of the park.

So do I. It's amazing how well they use their space.

^I think you might be looking at it wrongly, the last picture posted is showing the backside of the fun house building. The slide is on the other side of the building.

And ^^ Oops. My mistake. Thanks for correcting me.

Wow! Thanks for sharing.Nice view from the top. They have work wery fast this week to get it up..follow it on their FB page.

Icaros Gröna Lund and Loke Liseberg= its a pleasure to live in Sweden see all new rides grow up!

i wish Gröna Lund take away "RockJet"(music express) ride in the future too..and replace it with another great ride. The roof of "Blå Tåget"(ghost train) its strong enough i think

Overall height of the tower is now reported to be 76 meters without the sun, so the drop height should be somewhere around a few meters below that.

Is this the first time we see this used on a drop tower? I cannot recall having seen it elsewhere...

All the larger SBF towers use them and also a few from Fabbri. Probably some more.

Gröna Lund's skyline is getting almost as crowded as on the ground.
