I'm thinking this because parks in this country would probably stray away from something with as much bad publicity as chiller. A park is not going to care about negative publicity (unless a death was involved) but they could be scared away by the maintenance issues. Edited February 4, 2012 by larrygator

RideofSteel Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I really hope that chiller can find a nice home in America. One of my earliest memories at Great Adventure was sitting by the fence to Chiller and watching the trains launch. I even saw it stall out once.

Also I was in the park when I saw that there was a picnic thing back there and people were going through the gates that are normally blocked off I went in chiller station is just right there all the theming is in tack it was incredible!

It looks like this thing has airtime too This is just what Great Adventure needed in my mind. They already have world class coasters, so it seems like they are building back up their flats collection. This park has come a long way since the early 2000's.

Happy that the hurricane harbors aren't just exact clones plopped around the US. And next time I head to SFGADV, I may check out the water park
better_by_design Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Holy visual appeal! This thing is a stunner of a waterslide! And novel design... seeing the fiberglass being used for theming like this is very, very cool! And I've always found the big halflpipe type slides to be some of the most thrilling, with the most airtime.

forces Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I really like the whole idea of being swallowed by the cobra's mouth. I go to Great Adventure every season but have never tried out their water park....until this upcoming season!!

The only addition I could think of that would top this is the installation of powerful lighting/floodlights that would allow water parks to stay open past nightfall.
