_koppen Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Some more pictures. Looking really good! Topping of can't be to far away now. Source
FreeFaller Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Looks nice! Definitely worth visiting it next season!
chickenbowl Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Looks like a not-so-subtle direct copy of the Intamin Mega-lite so far! I can't wait to see how far it will go (I'm sure the coaster will be great anyway).
A.J. Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 The tall track spine and fat supports make this coaster look a lot smaller than the Mega Lites. I wouldn't call this a knock-off or direct copy, it looks like a "similar but different" experience so far.
thrillseeker4552 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Looks very Mega-Lite-ey, but that can only be a good thing!
_koppen Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 And the lift is done! Unfortunately the ride has the same ugly chain return under the top of the lift as Storm, but I guess I will get over it. Â Source
_koppen Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 The ride will keep following the megalite after the twisted hill, into a regular hill. I'm guessing that after that, the ride will keep following the Intamin ride with a left turn into a series of twisted hills. Instead of then making a right turn, into the last straight bunny hills, I think this one will do the same only with a turn to the left before the hills. Source
KingRCT3 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Megalite-like layout confirmed:  Source via Ameworld  After the strange stengel-dive thingy there will be a regular camel-back, but then a right turn instead of a left one, then the serie of mini S-turn that we can see in the last pic posted above me, then a left turn to a serie of bunny hops and brakes. Sounds good.
KingRCT3 Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Double-post but a new pic: Â (E-Coasters Facebook) Â It's really looking good, isn't it?
_koppen Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 My extreme love for Champagne might actually warrant a visit to the area and visit some of my favorite wine houses. This park would be perfect the combine with that trip!
Orici Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Uh, wow, the turn after the first drop looks very intensive. I plan to visit Nigloland this summer and can't wait to ride this coaster.
Gutterflower Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Â Posted to parc passions FB site https://www.facebook.com/parcspassion/photos_stream
gerstlaueringvar Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I think it would have some seriously OMFG airtime. Looks amazing but kind of like Mack is forced to knock-off an Intamin Mega-Lite
coasterfreak101 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Glad to see this one isn't just a copy of the other Mack mini-hyper without the roll at the end. Looks fun so far!
_koppen Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 It looks very impressive so far, even though I don't like the shaping of the first two big hills. Looks a bit more like B&M, compared to Intamin hills.
_koppen Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 The layout is 100% the same as a Megalite just with different shaping...wow lol. Â Yup, the brothers owning the park was extremely impressed by Piraten, but wanted Mack to build it instead.
KBrylczyk Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Just seeing the facts this could be a contender for the Mega-Lite - but doubt that Mack will do such agressive airtime.... Â Have you ridden Blue Fire?! That thing tries to tear you from the train no matter where you sit. Manta has some pretty intense airtime in the back seat, too.
GeorgeT Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 As the Mack Megacoaster train, especially the type of restraints, is still the best one out there IMHO, experiencing an airtime filled layout with those trains could be heavenly
_koppen Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Some more pictures. Really like the look of this. Looks like the big hills are bigger than on the real megalite, which should mean a little bit tamer airtime. Â I wonder if the trains are on site or not. If so then we should see some testing soon, they just have to pour the footers. Â Â Source Source
gerstlaueringvar Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 ^ Looking great, it really looks much tamer than Intamin Mega-Lites. Not only for the bigger hills, but also for the part after the Stengel Dive( Or just a twisting hill?) looks like it only provides some light positive G's. Again, I really don't like the park owner asking Mack to make something close to Intamin Mega-Lite. Kind of offensive to both Intamin and Mack.
rcjp Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 ^It does look kind of drawn out, I also noticed that. And yes, I do also find it a bit awkward that the park wanted Mack to do it.
Belgiumcoasterfreak Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 ^ I thought they asked Mack to do the job because the Intamins model was to expensive.
