Nwstone
Probably a new water park attraction.
tidecat
The trains for Storm Chaser are more of a teal color in the promo video, but that doesn't mean a second train could be a different color. More importantly, the trains don't have any detail that resembles the photograph, which makes me suspect it's a flat ride:
Guy T. Koepp
So both Holiday World and Kentucky Kingdom are getting Larson Loops? How original!

mudvayneimn
^ I think it has more to do with the (up until very recently) original colors for the logo. I personally think the colors of the original logo would work better with the red than the yellow and blue in that picture. My vote goes to a new slide for HB. Midgetman82
I popped onto their website to look for something and this advert was on the home page. This video does some serious justice for getting a season pass since some folks don't realize just how dirt-cheap getting one for this park really is! Nwstone
We'll I wonder when construction will pick up on this thang again, and will the new ride be revealed on Christmas Day since the teaser said it was under the tree?
lbeeler
We'll I wonder when construction will pick up on this thang again, and will the new ride be revealed on Christmas Day since the teaser said it was under the tree? Honestly it never slowed down lol. I drove by on a Sunday about 8 pm and you can see them hardly working. Oh btw SC looks so beautiful at night! Midgetman82
From a look on the morning of December 19They finished connecting the track pieces between the station and the lift hill (and yes, it did look like some small laterals will be present ), they added catwalks to the lifthill, and removed the wood behind the fence revealing the bottom of the ride from street view! There's always work going on for the ride, just in different areas at a time.

neil009
I wonder which will win, the first big airtime hill on Lightning Run or the first one on this. I can't wait to make the comparison. Anyone placing any bets?
Nwstone
I place my bet on SC, I think it's cool how the ride is all steel except for the siding on the catwalk, it just looks cool/wired with all the steel and that little bit of wood. Nwstone
Do you think KK will hold a big media day deal with Storm Chaser or just have a quiet type opening with the park in April?
lbeeler
Do you think KK will hold a big media day deal with Storm Chaser or just have a quiet type opening with the park in April? the quiet type seems to be KK type lol. I think we should do our own right outside the fence of SC! lol Edited December 24, 2015 by lbeeler
jedimaster1227
This ride is looking fantastic! That first airtime hill looks like it will give some wonderful floater air!
Nwstone
Yeah I'm curious to see if the first airtime hill will be floater or ejector, it seems almost as tall as the barrel roll drop. But, in the animation it had some incredible speed going over the hill.
thrillseeker4552
^It might be deceiving. I thought the same thing about Lightning Run's first hill but according to what I've read it seems to be pretty strong ejector. But nothing is guaranteed yet of course. Password121
Airtime has very little to do with height and everything to do with angular acceleration. That's why El Toro's first drop provides strong ejector air in the back--not because it's going 70 mph over the drop, but because it's rotating around the drop of a small radio is very quickly. For this reason, it's hard to tell how strong airtime will be just looking at a hill.
Jaykethekid
I bet it will be ejector airtime hill. The drop is probably going to be zero g or a tiny bit less, so the hill is a bit smaller than the drop so I'm guessing it will provide decently strong air.
