SFGAm is so far north, it's actually slightly closer to the Brewers stadium than to Wrigley

I am planning to go next year but Zach report I just read from last summer scares me alittle.

Chicagoland is a shithole, dude.

We have some of the wealthiest towns in the entire country in the area. Not sure what parts of the area you have been. The worst parts of the area are places you would have no reason to be, honestly. Like any major metropolitan area in the U.S., it has its good and bad parts.

Careful around these parts. Saying wealth and socioeconomic well being has any positive effect on society may get you labeled as an entitled bigot. The very idea is probably classified as hate speech.

Regardless, I retract nothing about my former statement.

Went to the park for Pride night on Saturday, the new front entrance is coming along nicely.  Lots of new things that are clearly NOT Six flags... concrete squares instead of blacktop, etc., and all the rides were running better than last year.  Seems everyone's favorite of the night was Eagle (red), running like a bat outta hell.  MaxxForce is back to 2 trains again; easily the most comfortable *new design* trains I've ridden in a couple decades; that ride is my favorite launcher (besides the old Schwarzkopf shuttles).

Six Flags has announced a brand-new B&M Dive Coaster will be added to Six Flags Great America in 2025!

Wrath of Rakshasa, from roller coaster design experts at Bolliger & Mabillard, will be unleashed in 2025, shattering multiple world records. Riders will test their limits on the ride’s beyond-vertical, 171-foot drop, the steepest of any dive coaster in the world. But the initial 96-degree drop is just the beginning as Wrath of Rakshasa reaches speeds up to 67 mph, shattering a second world record with five total inversions, the most of any dive coaster in the world.

This looks to be great! I've been on Sheikra at BGT as well as Dr. Diabolical at SFFT and they were both very enjoyable rides, Wrath Of Rakshasa looks to be even better! Makes me excited for SFOT's new Dive Coaster coming in 2026!
