yay101
^^Mardi Gras Sky Screamer! Honestly, I think I'm going to far, but I have always wanted to see Orleans Place turn into a DC Comics Area. They could rename Condor the Gotham City Crime Wave, make the Rue Le Dodge something like Gotham City Traffic Jam or something, or something like that. Maybe they could remove a flat ride, or maybe move Rue Le Dodge to the County Fair area. This would be so they could maybe add a ZacSpin (Green Lantern ) or maybe a WonderWoman's Lasso of Truth like at SFMM. I always found it pointless for there to be two New Orleans-themed areas, even though one is focused on Mardi Gras. On Goliath, I CAN'T WAITTTT! I'm glad to see construction is starting! I doubt that it will get re-themed. I honestly thought that since Orbit was broken so much this year that a Skyscreamer would get built there. Hopefully we can get a 300+ ft tall version. I think it would be possible as long as it's not in the Waukegan Regional Airport direction.
Woodie Warrior
I don't expect to see any large-scale attraction next year. I don't know the price of a Star Flyer, but I think next year's addition will be anything bigger than a small flat ride. But Six Flags can be surprising sometimes. Is there any word on if Ignite will return next year?
thrillrider
How about a mardi gras themed dark ride? Kinda like they had in sfno. That would fit in perfect in the mardi gras area of the park.

Is there any word on if Ignite will return next year? I hope not. That show sucked. Seriously, It was "about" 2 kids who died in the Chicago fire and then 2 other kids danced and then 2 teens danced and the some fireworks and lasers. Seriously, The plot of Die Hard 5 is more logical. I hope they bring back Glow In the Park Parade. That show was amazing. - I use "" as I'm not 100% that was the idea
Mrlittle
^Good, I was not the only one who thought the show had a weird story line. But with the stage and lights they set up for it, I see it returning. It also looked like a GP really enjoyed it. Maybe the show will come back with a different story and get better overall. So you are saying you want SFGAm to become SFMM? Lol be careful what you wish for. But yes, I do think there is a decent chance a Skyscreamer will come to SFGAm for 2015 or 2016. It could easily go in Ragin Cajun's location.
cal1br3tto
Ignite was fun, but I will agree that if you think about it, the supposed storyline was a bit...odd, and maybe even a little creepy. Still a decent entertainment option, though.
Hoppy
Yes, the GP really loved it...it was produced "for the masses" and a lot of us here would rather marathon some of the rides around the stage/park than deal with watching a few kids dance, or listen to overplayed songs pumped through some speakers. There will be a few shows that may be tested here and a few other SF parks in the coming years - they finally figured out to have a *test market* before adding something new at each park before it got bad reviews and all that time/energy/money spent got wasted. Double0Kevin
I hope they bring back Glow In the Park Parade. That show was amazing. This. I never even saw Glow in the Park in person, but the videos I've seen of it blew me away. It was odd to see that quality at Six Flags.

It was like a 21st Century Parade meets Blue Man Group meets Bubbles. I will talk trash about Shapiro but GITP, Little Dipper, and New Texas Giant were amazing decisions. If we're doing wishes for Ragin Cajun's locations; I'd pick either a Euro Fighter with Lap Bars or a Launching Coaster that goes around/through Roaring Rapids. An S&S 40 Passenger Screaming Swings would be great too.
Vonni
I think an S&S Screamin Swing would be a perfect addition! But as for the Eurofighter, I'd rather that come to my home park SFStL lol! Dont be Coaster greedy lol! Just kidding, that would be a nice addition for the area as well. I wonder how it could be themed to fit the area? Vonni
After a day of zero activity at the Goliath job site, watching the Web Cam you can see some action taking place this morning. I would not be surprised if we see more bents placed today.
GoBears
^That's because they don't work on Sundays unless they're falling behind schedule or they couldn't work a certain day during the week because of weather. Right now they're actually slightly ahead of schedule. I guess with how unpredictable weather is here in northern Illinois, there's no such thing as being slightly ahead of schedule. Here's the latest from today. It appears they've made more progress on the trench too.

I think it will be a smaller flat ride or, even better, a themed dark ride to replace the Southwest ampitheater I REALLY like the idea of a Sally Corp. shooter dark ride in the Southwest Territory. I *love* the shooter dark rides. It would definitely be something everyone could enjoy, and while SFGAm has a much better flat collection than most other chain parks, a dark ride is one thing that is definitely missing! I really hope IgNight returns. I thought it was an ok show, but it really cleared the back of the park out. Lines on the coasters dwindled to nothing every night just before the show started, making it very easy to get plenty of night laps in, so I hope it's backjust for that reason! Woodie Warrior
I saw clips of Ignite online and it was just... bad looking. The plotline was strange, I mean what does the Chicago Fire have to do with singing and dancing to today's pop songs? Plus the singing I heard was worse than the average theme park singing. But it was probably slightly better in person. I agree with the Glow in the Park Parade comments. That parade was amazing. I saw both SFSTL's and SFGAM's and they were both high-quality, especially for Six Flags parks. And then both parks got rid of them for no apparent reason. I mean, they were always bragging about how long it took to create the floats and how expensive they were, and then they only use them for 2-3 seasons. Woodie Warrior
So how long does a wooden coaster take to put up versus a steel one? I'd think a wooden one because of all the pieces, but is that true?

I agree with you about the songs and plot line of Ignite. The technical aspects of it is really cool. Canada's Wonderland has a similar show. When I saw it, I believe it was about the history of Canada set to music (no singing). If Ignite was something along those lines then it would be a better show. Also, I was under the impression that Ignite would be the "pre show" to Glow in the Dark. I was a disappointed when I didn't see a nighttime parade. I think if they added a parade the whole thing would be been pretty awesome. This is just my two cents though.
