CDride ! where do find this? on which ride?

I'd like to know on which ride can we find this system (you can buy a dvd of you and your friends riding the coaster).

That's stupid of the company to not post the actual rides with the system on their site.

Not sure if it is the same system, but you can do the same thing on Tony Hawk's Big Spin at Six Flags St. Louis.

That site used to have a list of all the ride installations. I guess now it just has the parks. I know Flight of Fear at KI and Raptor at CP have it. Cedar Fair seems to really have jumped on that idea. At SFFT, Tony Hawk has them also. At least it did when I visited in 2007.

From the cdride.com website there's a list of parks that use it.

 

Other than that I can think of:

Porta Ventura, on Furius Baco has it and at Alton Towers if you buy a wirstband you get a DVD with the footage of your day at the park including onride videos.

I know Flight of Fear at KI and Raptor at CP have it.

It was taken off of Flight of Fear at the end of the 2007 season. I wish they would do the same with Raptor.

I don't know if it's the same company but Oblivion at Alton Towers has an onride video (NOT YourDay) system which is new. I am not sure if it is open or not though. Also, Saw: The Ride at Thorpe Park is having it installed. Again, I'm not sure about the company doing it.

I saw the system at Alton on Oblivion. It is open but only films the front row.

TN tornado @ Dollywood has an on-ride video system. Not sure if it is the same "company" but I know you can purchase your on-ride video like you would an on-ride picture.

The ones at CP aren't worth it, they only show 30 seconds of your video. Just like the onride photos at CP, they are way too overpriced, on closing day I bought my first onride photo in 5 years then (Nov. 2)

Something like this would be great for X2 at SFMM---or any ride there, in fact. Also, I seem to recall something like this on Sierra Sidewinder at Knott's, but maybe it's only an onride photo.

^Nope it's a video. I've seen many people's on-ride vids from youtube. They're is even one of a guy and his friend pretending to throw up on the video.

I hear that Knott's also plans to add CDRide to Silver Bullet if the other coasters sell their respectful vids well.

Xcelerator, Ghostrider, and Sierra Sidewinder at Knott's have this system, so does the kiddie coaster Miner Mike at the Adventuredome in Vegas.

One of my pet peeves with this system is some parks don't film you from beginning to ending. They would throw in 3rd person perspective here and there through the video.

 

That is why I will not buy CD from Volcano at KD. If you look up Volcano on YouTube, there's plenty of those videos and you'll see what I mean. I want my face to be shown from beginning to ending therefore I wish parks would provide two options...

 

1. Buy film from beginning to ending without interruption

2. Buy film with 3rd person perspective here and there.

 

If I had choice, I pick #1.
