mightypotato Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I plan on heading out to Dorney/SFGAdv next year on a road trip. Because really...I just want to ride El Toro.
Electerik Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I'm just hoping we don't lose any more parks. Beyond that, I'm pretty excited about Diamondback.
sfmmrules! Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Disneyland,DCA,SFMM you can't get any better than that! Those parks are my paradise! I do hope to go to Universal Orlando to ride the Mummy again & I look forward to riding the new Hollywood Rip,Ride,Rocket.
hansrubens Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 For me it will be the new Europapark coaster Plus I'm planning for a little trip to madrid and my first TPR trip as I will join the West Coast in August. ----Hans
sixflagsguy5 Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 1) Beach Bend, Alabama Adventure, Dollywood, Lake Winnie, and KI. 2) Possible Elitch Gardens and Lagoon train trip. 3) Northern California to get all the credits in (I think V1.5 doesn't have too much longer and same with Great America). 4) Getting to 500 coasters
Groteslurf Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 For me it will be the new Europapark coaster Plus I'm planning for a little trip to madrid and my first TPR trip as I will join the West Coast in August. ----Hans Almost the same here. Also the WC trip for me, the Europapark coaster and also Ringracer.
holyblakbelt Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I want to ride the waves at the new wavepool at Valleyfair. Pending on what I want to do, I might want to go to a park other than one in Minnesota. Just something to do before heading off to college.
Vffreak07 Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I'm looking forward to Breaker's Bay as well! ^ (By the way Stillwater > Woodbury )
Angry_Gumball Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Well, I *was* looking forward to CGA's new woodie...but thanks to a nearby office that moved in after CGA's existence, the project's been postponed until an agreement can be made, if it even happens at all.
rollerboy Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Saw-The ride! It will be my first Euro Fighter. See you in March .
Team Thriller Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 For me: 1.) Blue Fire -Europa Park is my homepark 2.) Ring Racer -Only an hour away from my house. I can't wait to say I've ridden the fastest coaster in the world. And to be there on opening day! 3.) More credits! --James
matteocrepaldi Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Lets see: A new awesome Intamin at Mirabilandia; I'm expecting a lot from it. Also Blue Fire looks pretty interesting. I'm also hoping in a trip to Orlando to ride Manta.
Goliath513 Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Terminator, because it is most likely the only new ride for 2009 I will get the chance to ride next year. 2) Possible Elitch Gardens and Lagoon train trip.3) Northern California to get all the credits in (I think V1.5 doesn't have too much longer and same with Great America). 2) At Elitch's, do the water park if you can. It's pretty good for it's size and admission included in the park. If you go for just the coasters and main rides, you will be done by noon and need something to do for the rest of the day. Or, you can hit up the water park in the morning (like I usually do) and then do the rest of the park in the afternoon. You can be finished with the complete Elitch's experience by the evening, then make a trip a few miles west. down the road to Lakeside for the night. Lakeside is amazing after dark! While you are in Denver, you might want to add a day to your trip to go to Waterworld on the north end of town if you like water parks. (I will spare you a religious rant about how great this place is.) One more thing, if you have time, drive 20 minutes west to Golden to visit Heritage Square for their alpine slides. The park is closing down after the 2009 season, so you might want to go there, and get the 2 kiddie coaster credits, while you still have the chance. As for Lagoon, I need to do the drive out there to see my uncle who lives near the park (as an excuse to do the 7 hour drive out there. ) 3) CGA is understandable, but what makes you think V2 at SFDK won't be around much longer?
spaceace12 Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Can't wait to ride flying turns.....i better just count on a 2010 opening.
Xizor_Racer Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Since I am in the nieghborhood, Diamondback for me as well. I live in IN but have nto been to Holiday world..... maybe a trip south should be in trhe works this next summer.
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Two almost 100% sure trips: Scandi with TPR and Jersey Shore/SFGAd with some guys from the Behemoth trip. Hopefully I'll do some more, but I need some "non-coaster vacations" in my life in 2009. Probably will hit up my local gems Kennywood, Knoebels, and Busch Europe. If I can afford it and have time (which I doubt) I may do a little mid west trip with my friends and a trip to England for Halloween with Coasterforce. Honestly, I'm kind of down on the whole coaster thing at this point, but that kind of thing tends to happen in November when the season ends. When April rolls around I will probably be just as geeked out, but as of now, I really am only planning two trips
XII Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 For 2009, I'll be getting on 1.Terminator 2. The Stratosphere
monsterfan99 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 For myself, two big trips for me. First is 8 Days at Disney World. Along with those 4 parks, add in Old Town on some random night there. Also add Wild Adventures on the way down and Six Flags Over Georgia on the way back driving. Second is an Ohio trip. Will be my first time to Cedar Point and Kings Island. Finally, excited to see Buccaneer Battle at Six Flags Great America. Should be fun on hot days.
the ghost Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I need to get all missing credits within a two to three hour drive in 09. Also Terminator is highly anticipated but I doubt Ill go to Six Flags besides hopefully for WCB if its not on a sunday or weekday. Of course if I dont make WCB I will just do Winter Solace which will be awesome cause I can finally drive there. I NEED THE MUMMY CREDIT!!!!!!!!!
jamesdillaman Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 ^ Let me introduce you to my friend, the comma: "," Anyway, I'm looking forward to Diamondback, of course. I'm also intrigued by Pilgrim's Plunge, although I'm not sure if I'll make it to Holiday World next season or not. It all depends on the money situation, although I'm sure I'll get on Diamondback! -James Dillaman
dr.gumbo Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I'm looking forward to Mumbo Jumbo. Why, because I live near were it's being built plus there's only one other one El Loco in the world.
VGplay Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I should be having a lot going on coaster-wise next summer. 1. Riding Diamondback on opening day. 2. Riding Ravine Flyer II again! 3. Going on some sort of East Coast trip. Still figuring how big of a trip it will be, but it will be a week at the least. 4. Going to Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Europe, Dollywood, Lake Winnie, Beech Bend, and Holiday World with my family. 5. A few day trip with my brother to Six Flags Great America with stops at Fun Spot, Indiana Beach, Michigan's Adventure, and Cedar Point. I may even try and swing an extra day to the Wisconsin Dells.
Josh Linn Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 - Flying Turns (I hope) - Hopefully visiting Kennywood and Waldameer for the first time - SFNE/Lake Compounce (again, I hope)
