In light of the new and insanely epic movie: TRON: Legacy....

Prepare. To. Enter The Grid.

EDIT: Added One more pic to make you all drool. This will be NCS, so it's going to be quite a challenge!

MAJOR MAJOR SPOILER: This is the sequence in the movie where Sam Flynn Duels Tron (now evil) in the grid!

The dueling/racing coaster completed.

Sereval key features include trick track to simulate lightcycles hitting each other, dueling/racing course, giving you the feeling of chase, and finally, a highly detailed model (NCS) of the Grid will be built around the coaster!

Coming Soon!

Thats looking good DJ, I like the I305 inspiration. The only part I dont like is the curve sections and the extremely long high before the curve into the airtime hills. Looks nice.

Btw, i know how to merge, but is merging for the vertical drop that high up challenging? Is there any ways or pointers you have for doing a merge that high, or is it just like any other merge?

It's a little harder to work around, but what I do is raise the land a bit so you can build up higher, and as soon as you get the first track ready for merging in the air, I work down low. I mean, it's a typical merge, but the height gets in the way.

The coaster actually goes over 90 miles, so I didn't want the transtitions to be too forceful like the real coaster, so I elongated some of them. I wanted the basic openning of the ride, but my own style towards the end.

WOW Dj that looks amazing!

Thanks. Supporting it right now is being a hassle, though.

^That is a really interesting layout. Two things hope out to me immediately: The track passing through the loop does so really low, and it looks kind of weird, and the fact that the ride basically ends after the loop. I think a couple helixes in between the loop and the brake run would work pretty well.

^ Yeah, thats one pesky little loop. I loose momentum at the hill after barell roll, so there'll be a lower groundlevel after the hill. Might go for 2station's with entrance / exit with lifthill hidden.

^^ ( previous page)

Yeah, I totally agree it end after pretty much nothing. I will try and do a 2nd version of it where I also alter the lifthill to gain momentum for those extra helixes. Perhaps around a pond that'll be added if above elevation is changed =D

3rd, it'll get its own thread shortly.

I am working on a few things at the moment, so I will post a picture or 2 of each of them.

This flat ride is located right next to a B&M Floorless coaster, called Harlequin. The top spin is currently unnamed.

Another unnamed ride, an Intamin Space Diver.

Space Diver overview.

And we will finish off the pictures with the first ingame picture of my new Intamin Vertical Lift CTR (Fahrenheit at Hershey Park). This CTR is part of the Intamin Super Pack, which is a group of four CTR creators, including myself. We are creating every Intamin roller coaster train there is. I don't know if it is allowed, probably not, but if it is someone let me know and I will post a link to the Intamin Super Pack thread on Shyguy's world.

Something Intimidating has hit the skyline! Only at Fellville, America's Old Time Park!

Love it. What's gonna be interesting is the support work on the first hill...best of luck, as always!
