jakecallan Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 The S-Turn, Not sure if its an element that has been used before?
goldiehound Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Sky Ride will bring guests from Thunder Bobs to Everglade Autos in swinging buckets. Also a midway by Runaway Mine Train will have buildings and restaurants. Shot0581.bmp
SoCalCoasters Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 ^At this point I'd say you need to focus a bit more on the quality of the park and the scenery. It looks a bit sparse and rushed. Â Haven't touched RCT3 in around a month, then I built this today. Shot0852 (Copy).bmp Classic Schwarzkopf Looper
Twitch Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 (edited) Looks like a good layout. Can't wait to see what foliage you have planned for the area around the ride. Makes me want to try some more SCHWARZKOPF layouts for my park. Â I'm seeing a bit of edgy terrain where the coaster comes close to the ground. It contrasts the flow of the layout that you have going there. Â MOD EDIT: S-C-H-W-A-R-Z-K-O-P-F. SCHWARZKOPF. NOW GO AND WRITE IT 1,000 TIMES. S-C-H-W-A-R-Z-K-O-P-F. Legoguy1395 Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 ^Lol it looks like you've been Rudiefied   I've had a recent trip to Dolllywood.   No 3DS here.
10ryansmith Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Well, after not touching RCT2 for three weeks, Im trying to get back into the swing of things... SCR408.BMP I like the layout, but something seems "off" to me... Any ideas?
coasterfreak101 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 The first half doesn't flow, it isn't graceful the way that a B&M should be. The last half is pretty good, though the last roll should probably be elevated more and, since it's a B&M, the first of those two airtime hills should lead directly into a brake run, followed by that turn into the primary and transfer. But as for what's throwing it off, it's that first half for me - the tight transition at the bottom of the drop and the vertical loop just don't look good and the latter is out of place.
QueerRudie Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Bland, uninspired and rushed. Put more thought into the design, take your time, and be original. This looks like it was thrown together without process, thought or idea, and really doesn't have a lot of potential along the way. I'd go back and try it again, but refine your idea before trying a build.
sfgam#1 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Coming soon to Six flags Tennessee adventure rsz_2shot0104.bmp
SuicideCarz Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Wow, Jake! That's looking really neat! I love the effect of the rain too. Adds to the atmosphere for some reason that makes it look nicer in my opinion. Â First off Happy Memorial Day to everyone! (sorry a bit late) In honor of our U.S. forces, our Six Flags has planted some flowers. They go in a specific order that should be easy to spot. More pictures coming up sometime soon since I have 7 days of school left. Â
sfgamguy Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 That's one of the nicest ncso entrances I've ever seen, well done!
AFAblackhawk Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Great entrance! SCR16.BMP Nice looper layout SCR15.BMP Really enjoyed this invert layout
QueerRudie Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Re: Schwarzkopf coaster: Two things - 1.) bank the fan curve after the first inversion- your riders will appreciate it; 2.) Extend the brake run quite a bit- it is WAY too short for a Schwarzkopf looping coaster.
Xtreme97 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 The invert layout isn't bad, but I suggest tightening the turnaround in between the two corkscrews. Â I've made a (currently not working) layout of Speed: No Limits at Oakwood Theme Park, which I am going to eventually re-create.
vekoma_fan Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Something I've been working on today.. Was suppose to be a Vekoma Whirlwind, but for some reason I ended up with a Vekoma Tornado layout.. more to come? what do you guys think? Â Catwalks all handmade I also need a name, help please..
sammmmmy Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Intamin launched coaster I'm working on. Inspired by a mix of ispeed at Mirabilandia, Stealth at Thorpe, and Skycar at Mysterious Island. Top hat, more soon

imawesome1124 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Xtreme97: The drop from the MCBR in to the zero-G should be one or two sections longer. Everything else is perfect.

I would use 2 rail track where you can instead of the B&M track where possible, it will make it more realistic. Other then then that the layout looks pretty much perfect
jakecallan Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Skate Parks first map (subject to change) What do we think?
Xtreme97 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Wow looks really nice jake, your park is turning out great!
