actually there is construction going on right behind the power surge on top of the quarry wall. i took some pics last weekend and saw a huge cat wheel loader and a huge huge cat excavator, tearing it up back there. don't even know if that property belongs to six flags or not. but def something big happening up there. not sure how to post the pics here for others to view them!

Sounds like Frisbee is on the way out...closing November 1st. Seems like the Boardwalk will finally get a revamp (much needed) with a good collection of solid flat rides. Now, if only they could rip out Power Surge and replace it with a true wooden coaster (custom RMC in a few years using the cliff? ) and build a hyper to the left of Pandemonium running out to the parking lot...the park would pretty much be complete with a little of everything.

I've had that idea of a hyper coaster extending to the employee parking lot and back to the boardwalk area for many years. I really think that's what the park needs to build in a few years is a great airtime filled hyper. It will be nice to see what they do to the boardwalk area.

where did they announce Frisbee is going away? that's a shame, as it's one of my favorite rides in the park.

but a Boardwalk, really does need a good coaster (so hopefully Pandemonium is gone)

^ Remember, SFGAdv had both kinds of rides for a couple years, too. In fact, Excalibur was originally at SFGADv before it was relocated to SFStL. Our "Frisbee"-style ride is now at SFGAm.

You mean the greatest goddamn flat ride in the history of mankind? Yeah. I'm still pissed it disappeared one year. That thing was wicked as hell.

Haha, yea I agree. When I visited SFStL in 2013 I made it a point to ride it. The nostalgia, I FELT IT!

When Excalibur was new to SFStL, the line was quite long. But in recent years its practically a walk on.

Anyone think Scooby-Doo could get converted into a type of Justice Leauge? Would only require cosmetic changes since the building is in existence already.

^ It'd be some pretty frigging hefty cosmetic changes. Certainly doesn't help that there's one 4 hours away already.

Then again, there's 3 Batman clones between those two cities.
