azombi Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 actually there is construction going on right behind the power surge on top of the quarry wall. i took some pics last weekend and saw a huge cat wheel loader and a huge huge cat excavator, tearing it up back there. don't even know if that property belongs to six flags or not. but def something big happening up there. not sure how to post the pics here for others to view them!
Texasbest2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I agree ^^^^^^^ what kind of steel coaster what u want us to get ? I would love a GCI woodie !!
Mrlittle Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Sounds like Frisbee is on the way out...closing November 1st. Seems like the Boardwalk will finally get a revamp (much needed) with a good collection of solid flat rides. Now, if only they could rip out Power Surge and replace it with a true wooden coaster (custom RMC in a few years using the cliff? ) and build a hyper to the left of Pandemonium running out to the parking lot...the park would pretty much be complete with a little of everything. I've had that idea of a hyper coaster extending to the employee parking lot and back to the boardwalk area for many years. I really think that's what the park needs to build in a few years is a great airtime filled hyper. It will be nice to see what they do to the boardwalk area.
troglodytis Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 With the Frisbee getting the wrecking ball, I think tells the tail. More wood for #SFFT2016
bert425 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 where did they announce Frisbee is going away? that's a shame, as it's one of my favorite rides in the park. but a Boardwalk, really does need a good coaster (so hopefully Pandemonium is gone)
DarienLaker Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Did Six Flags Fiesta Texas close Pandemonium?
Texasbest2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 No they didn't throw closing Frisbee down November 1.
cyberdyne-systems Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Check out these photos that Jeffrey Siebert posted on Facebook today:Looks like Rockville is getting some fresh new pavement.

michaellynn4 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Just to be clear, it is official Frisbee is closing November 1st. Proof: Frisbee's Closure Announcement I spy one of the other park's new ride for 2016!! #fivebucksitsSFSTL
SFOG1991 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 ^ Haha when they already have Excalibur, a far superior and unique similar ride, that would be the biggest bummer ever.
michaellynn4 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 ^ Remember, SFGAdv had both kinds of rides for a couple years, too. In fact, Excalibur was originally at SFGADv before it was relocated to SFStL. Our "Frisbee"-style ride is now at SFGAm.
Texasbest2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Are u saying frisbee going to sfstl??^^^^^^
livai Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Are u saying frisbee going to sfstl??^^^^^^ sfsl ha excalibur ,che è simile ,I think going to six flags america
KBrylczyk Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Excalibur was originally at SFGADv before it was relocated to SFStL.. You mean the greatest goddamn flat ride in the history of mankind? Yeah. I'm still pissed it disappeared one year. That thing was wicked as hell.

Yeah. I'm still pissed it disappeared one year. That thing was wicked as hell. Haha, yea I agree. When I visited SFStL in 2013 I made it a point to ride it. The nostalgia, I FELT IT!
Vonni Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 When Excalibur was new to SFStL, the line was quite long. But in recent years its practically a walk on.
Texasbest2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Can't wait for what were receiving in 2016???
Texasbest2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Please like Texas thrill seekers page for fiesta Texas jeffery sibert will give a major clue on fiesta!!
TyRush Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Anyone think Scooby-Doo could get converted into a type of Justice Leauge? Would only require cosmetic changes since the building is in existence already.
KBrylczyk Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 ^ It'd be some pretty frigging hefty cosmetic changes. Certainly doesn't help that there's one 4 hours away already. Then again, there's 3 Batman clones between those two cities.
