hansrubens
Let's take a closer look at that first element. It's such a cool banked turn.
Vid_w
That overban thingy looks insane! Looks like a 100* banked tophat... There should be just about 0G at the top, maybe more like 0.1 or 0.2, but still, a nice effect!
ECZenith
Watch out Intamin! That first element is just weird, in a good way, of course.

coasterdude5
Holy crap, that's gonna be insane! Especially depending on the speed...

mash80
It's been reported today on TowersTimes and Coaster Force sites that when they came to attach the top piece of the loop, it didn't fit! Got me wondering, is this a common thing to happen or is it a big, big screw up? Picture source: http://freizeitparkweb.de
Shavethewhales
Wha...? How do you go about making that big of a screw-up? What does this say about the rest of the ride? Let's hope it was just a miscalculation for that specific piece only.
Gutterflower
I spoke to a German friend of mine earlier and he said that it fits fine and this was just a rehearsal for the announcement of the ride soon (where the loop will be topped off. I'm not sure if this is true but if anyone knows more (or can read the German forums) let us know
mash80
Yea, I guess it is something like that. I did look for any 'official' sources but couldn't find any and unfortunately I don't read German myself so I couldn't get any information off the site I linked. Pictures can sure be misleading and I apologise if I 'misled' anyone else!
Germanstud
Hey everybody, actually nobody knows exactly why the last part of the Loop hasn't been installed. There are speculations that they just wanted to test wether it fits or not in order to fix the last part of the loop when press is present. Everybody hopes that it is not a wrong calculation of the g-forces like in the track of Maverick we just don't want to have a coaster with a long flat part after the top-hat. Possibly it has just been a wrong calculation on the part. I think on Monday we will know more. Have a nice Sunday.
Coaster Sim. Fan
Hopefully its just a bad pic. Or they could just fix it red neck stile. Just tie a rope to each end and get a bunch of people to pull on it until it fits
Dragon Khan
^ DON'T LAUGH ! That's exactly what they had to do with Goudurix, the Vekoma Death Machine at Parc Asterix: The last piece of track had to be pulled with ropes and then bolted / welled to close the track ! A friend of mine even had a (copyrighted) video of this being done ! no joke !
ECZenith
This kind of stuff happens a lot, especially when it's the manufacturer's first project of this scale. I'm sure they'll mend the track to fit properly fairly easily.
Germanstud
One logical explanation might be that they just wanted to see wether the top of the loop fits or not and now they want to fix the part of the track which is supposed to go through the Loop (I think you can see this in the first artworks). Scaparri
It's simply a bad picture, people. It's pretty easy to tell that the track is not hanging at the correct angle to be mounted. If the track was pushed horizontally a few degrees, it's obvious that the track would fit just fine. Does anybody else see what I'm talking about? EDIT: Added simple arrow to show what I mean... Twist the track a few degrees in the direction shown by the arrow, and move the crane back about a couple feet.

devol4
I think the loops being attached the same way as some of the other pieces, like on these pics... It really looks like it might be the angle that the picture is being taken from..
Gutterflower
http://epfans.info/?id=2236&PHPSESSID=9ff2788c9543c7c7f66d7df967bdbbdb Its time for some serious loop piercing coaster porn. Looks alot like a blue "sky car" in some of those pictures. In a slightly previous update http://epfans.info/?id=2235& there is now a load of black track between the station and the launch. Indoor pre launch story perhaps?
matteocrepaldi
I spot some crazy airtime on that hill! I can't wait for 2009 to go there and ride it.
Kooky
you were faster with the pictures! yeah the coaster will be great! hope that their will be a little darkride part in beginning, like the rumors said. But to the rumors about the last Loop Part: The Park said that they just tested if everything fits for the PressConference which is tomorrow on 08/22/2008 where the last part of the Loop (not of the track) will be set... i don`t think that they will have any problems during building... Mack has developed their own special way so that the rails will stick perfect together... and with a minimum of bumbs! if you have ridden the Kiddicoaster "Pegasus" in Europa Park, you`ll know what i mean! its perfect smooth! Team Thriller
^^ Pegasus went up very fast also. I remember I was surprised how amazingly smooth is was and still is. Even Eurosat still is smooth. (The sudden movements make it seem rough, but the ride itself is still smooth) Sunday I will be visiting the park, and I can't wait to see this new coaster up close. --James
Gutterflower
For those who cant read german (I.e me) Lap bars only is the key thing we want to know as well as 1x loop and 3x corkscrews, themed queue and station, through rocks and caves, first section of the ride is dark ride as well, entrance to the new area via a tunnel under the river rapids. and I'm actually quite happy there's no model
