GAcoaster
Don't know if anyone esle has been watching, but in two days it looks like they almost completed maXair at CP. Just two days ago all they had was footings in place, and then the legs went up yesterday, and today it's nearly done... As of 1:00 EST:
CoasterCrazy
I was looking forward to riding Maxair this summer but I can't go to Cedar Point again until 2006.
jonathan h
These rides are really awsome. I rode on one at Bobbejaanland in the summer and it rocked. Rode in the rain which kinda hurt but then rode a few more times after it stopped raining and it ruled. The queues go really fast because of the huge capacity however it is a shame that the ride time is so short. You only a get a couple of swings at full height. I really need to to get over the USA and get to Cedar Point one of these days!
Mr.Six
Yes, it is going up very fast. They've had the actual parts for some time now! It's good that they are finally putting it together.

Also, I think Maxair has a better cycle than Delirium @ KI. Don't ask me why.
chadster
^I've always preferred CP's version too, Delirious it would seem almost has a few less motions to its ocean.

'He searched that far back just to make a negative comment about a ride!!  Hey, I can see this you know!! I was just scrolling through the forums as you may do and saw this thread. The first thing that popped into my mind was that this is not as forceful or give as much air time as a KMG one does, especially XXL versions. Yes, I know it was far back, but I just wanted to give an opinion. You have a different opinion to me and that is OK. I like to hear other people's opinions but some other people may not. Sorry if my comment annoyed anyone.
Ed Farmer
Can't go wrong with a HUSS Giant Frisbee, I think I preferred Delirium, though. Could be because I've only ever been on Maxair in October (when I usually visit CP), and had several layers on, in addition to cold/wind/rain. Doubt the program varies much... coasterbill
If you don't like Maxair then you're a bad, bad person with bad opinions, your taste in rides is bad and you should feel bad. Â Â Â Â BTW I'm obviously kidding, except about the part where your taste is bad.

Sorry if my comment annoyed anyone. On page 219 of inactive threads? Â Anyways, I haven't ridden all that many giant frisbees (I'm excited to compare to the new Delirium at Kings Dominion) but I thought MaXair was awesome. My favorite flat ride at this point, other than maybe Zumanjaro at GrAdv.
thrillseeker4552
I thought MaXair and Delirium were both fantastic rides. Definitely up there on my flat ride list, with Intamin drop towers and S&S giant swings.
John Peck
In my opinion, maXairs cycle is much better than deliriums, as it is about 3 or 4 swings longer. Hope they keep that up! Â I love these rides and I am fortunate to live in between both of them!
cal1br3tto
On page 219 of inactive threads? Ha! I just today noticed that's where we're at now. Must be something about the number 219.
MiABeta
I've never ridden maXair. Maybe in 2007 I will. Yes 2007.
BuffaloWingRider
I had really high expectations for this ride but it was fine and that was all. I really prefer the scream and swings.
Sportsdude360
I rode maXair several years ago on one of my trips to CP. I must say I enjoyed it immensely. That's why I'm really excited for Riddler's Revenge coming to SFOT in the spring. It's supposedly the same model as Black Widow at Kennywood. A Zamperla Giant Discovery. Who knows, it might even be better than maXair.
