Stop comparing it to Intimidator 305!

It looks like those big solid-ish pieces in the second photo are what will be supporting the track as it goes up the lift. Am I wrong?

It has the same lift supports and double-spine track that Intimidator has. For those aspects, it's a completely fair comparison. Seriously.

Just let it go.

^I didn't mean to sound ungrateful for the amazing updates, I was just more caught by the artsy shots (which isn't a bad thing at all) since I'm a sucker for sunsets.

Anyone think they might manage to finish the lift supports by Christmas? And maybe not the lift track, but I personally do see them finishing the drop soon!

I wonder how close to Hersheypark you'll have to be to see the lift and drop. You'll probably be able to see it from really far away.

Every time someone compares Skyrush to Intimidator 305, a baby dinosaur gets run over by a car.

I doubt it'll be from too far. That part of the park is downhill, so you've got that going against you. And for people coming to the park, at least the main way, you really don't see that side of the park until you're in the gates. I'm sure you'll be able to see it from the opposite side (past the site/where SDL's pre-drop turnaround is) but from anywhere else it'll probably be just as hidden as Storm Runner is.

I've been using the crane and Kissing Tower as a refrence point. The cabin goes up 250 feet and so is the crane so i just estimate down the tower 50 feet, which isn't much and at any point around town that you can see 1/4 of the silver part of the tower, you'll be likely to see Skyrush. So far I can see most of the tower coming into Hershey from the west near the Medical Center, coming into Hershey from the east on Rt. 322 and 422, and around town. So far i can see some of the supports from Chocolate Ave next to the park, but are mostly covered from the treeline.

So far only the lift hill is going to be visible outside the park and maybe a LITTLE bit of the first airtime hill.

Every time someone complains about the paint scheme of a new coaster, a baby unicorn gets hit by a train.

You really have it out for extinct / mythical creatures don't you. lol

Sometimes there is just no explaining why companies choose the colors they do on coasters, someone just thought it would look cool.
