robbalvey
For years I know that Disney was working on a "self contained" animatronic, and that project ended up being Lucky the Dinosaur. Impressive, sure, I guess, but nowhere NEAR as impressive as what this thing can do: You'll either see this coming soon at a theme park near you...or a war zone near you! --Robb
ElToroExtreme
WOW that thing is insane!!!
TheStig
Wow, that is pretty amazing right there! I can't even begin to imagine what went in to building and programming that thing, its insane!

Mechanic
I think the war zone comment is more likely. That looks to me like Terminator taking baby steps. The end is near! The end is near! coasterdude5
Maybe it was the noise or the realistic-nature of it but it freaked me out! Looks cool but I wouldn't wanna be stuck in a room with it.
downunder
Will somebody terminate Miles Dyson and torch cyberdine for crying out loud, Sarah and John Connor are fictional characters they won't do it for you.
voodoobones
Holy mackerel. I'm not sure how to feel about it. It's cool, creepy, useful, remarkable. It will be interesting to see how it develops.
gnewton34
Yeah, I saw this the other day and it totally creeps me out. *shivers*
natatomic
Yeah, I think I'm FAR more creeped out than impressed. Is the #1 rule of robotics to make their designs look as man-eating and world-dominating as possible or something? If so, good job with this one guys. PURE
Is it just me or is that kinda scary? No, it definitely is scary. Hopefully this is a US design, imagine having a million of these things surrounding an entire continent strapped with grenade launchers or bazookas. Holey Crap, Welcome to the future. ECZenith
As a former Marine and a current cast member, applications for this robot in both fields would be nice.
dino
I'm sure this thing is very advanced technologically, but it is just too creepy. Very unnatural looking...I mean imagine seeing that thing wander into your backyard .
3rdShiftCM
It has a 340lb payload! Do you understand how much BOOM that would make? WOW! Bad Guy #1 Hey, what is that? Bad Guy #2 Looks, like a horse. Bad Guy #1 He looks friendly. Bad Guy #2 Yea, I think he BOOOOOOOOOOOM!
FLIPDUDE
Holy cow! While I am totlaly creeped out by this thing I can't help but be amazed. Also, it probably wouldn't look as creepy if it were leading a Disneyland parade dressed as Pluto.
Loefet
One step closer to an AT-AT walker It really looks like two guys facing each other with the upper body inside the main structure, creepy.
cfc
^That's what I was thinking, too. Amazing how it recovered when it slipped on the ice.
Purplepills
WOW that thing really is amazing, especially the way it recovered on the ice, and when the guy tried to kick it over. You'd be pretty pleased with the end result if you'd been working on that project, or at least I would be. Ok so is it wrong that I found the 'Korean highschool girls:very ugly' video in the YouTube video menu funny?
Tanks4me05
Holy crap! That thing has extremely lifelike leg movements. AND it's pretty hard to knock it down, it didn't completely slip on ice, a guy kicked it and it still stood... but all it needs is some quieter motors... then I can see it easily being used in combat on very rugged terrain.
