P. 418: Camp Snoopy expansion announced including new family coaster

Recommended Posts

Hopefully, B&M will continue to make forceful, more intense rides like Banshee.

And let's just be clear about something, while Banshee was MUCH better than probably 95% of the B&Ms from 2002 - 2013, it still wasn't the "old school" B&M days of being crazy forceful. I just rode Fire & Ice the other day, and man, they do not make them like that any more! WOW! What a pair of rides!!!

This is what I "feared". It does look like an improvement over their new rides *cough*gatekeeper*cough* and it did get great reviews. Still, looking at a few POVs and comparing it to others like BTR clones which I have tired, it's just not the same. It's good to see B&M can at least pull a relatively nice and forceful layout, but I'm still waiting for a ride which will be as good/intense as their old-school ones.

In my opinion? MILD ejector air can be found on Nitro.

Yes, I agree. But really, what the hell does "Mild Ejector Air" even mean! LMAO!!!

There is just no B&M hyper that does what Expedition GeForce, Goliath, El Toro, Balder, or even Texas Giant does. That same sensation simply doesn't exist and that's by design. That's not to say that Centurion Fury 360 Swarm BANG won't be exciting for some and a huge hit for the park, just don't go in expecting ejector airtime all over the ride.

You need to stop waiting and just realize it will never happen. Banshee was a FANTASTIC ride. Really impressed by it. And if that ride set the new bar for every other B&M built after it, you'd have a second coming (gross) of B&M that is *close* to it's old-school awesomeness, but not quite. Most B&M that have been built in the last ten years have been absolutely disappointing to me. Banshee did not disappoint. Was it as good as the Montu/Pyrenees/Katun/Batman/Dragons days? No. But it was good enough that I'll TAKE IT!

^I haven't ridden it so I can't tell how much I like it, but I suppose that may be true, that those days will never return...

It's just that it's hard for me to comprehend how a new company as B&M was back then built such kick-ass ride and today, with the reputation and experience they have, they don't seem to do it any more.

I myself have respect for Jarsh, but putting a picture about a ride everyone is anxious to know about on the world wide web, and expecting it not to be tossed around then getting mad when it does makes little to no sense. If you don't wan't everyone to see it then leave it off the internet and keep it to yourself.

Why are we still discussing this? Didn't it happen like four pages ago? Surely by now Centurion Fury 360 Swarm BANG has gotten another rumored name or something we can talk about instead, right?

Does any B&M hyper have even mild ejector?

Silver star!

But seriously, no. I'm even doubting that the speed hill on Shambhala provides airtime.

IMO Leviathan looks to be what a B&M hyper should be like, a ride that focus on other things than airtime. (but if B&M want's to build a hyper with actual airtime by all means go ahead, until then though build speed inspired rides with over banks.

Look at the difference between these photos:

You'll notice a difference in the rail tie design.
