THE BIG MIKE ROAD SHOW - 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PICS ON PG 769

Recommended Posts

The zipline does look like a blast, and not too terribly high for noobs like me.

Two things made me LOL in this latest episode: "Banana Squadron" and this photo:

The two expressions together are awesome.

Hello Valuable Big Mike Readers!!!

Today Big Mike takes you way up, like 13,000 feet up in the mountains!

This episode was filmed in the middle of July, but there was still some snow to go play in, and Big Mike did just that!

Beartooth Mountain is on the border of Wyoming and Montana, and is just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park.

I hope you enjoy the beauty of it all!

Peace, Big Mike

Hey Folks, The Big Man here.

One of those days where I just did not feel like putting an update up, so I threw something up just for the heck of it and to keep my perfect record going.

I appreciate the handful of nice people who always have nice things to say, you know who you are

Big Mike honestly can't wait to get to next week and take a week off for riding coasters and not having to put updates up for a week!!!

Anyway, this is a very small park named Ocean Beach Park in Connecticut. Someone found this coaster sometime during the 2010 roller coaster season, so Big Mike went out to ride it after thinking he had Connecticut completed already.

It's not much, but then again, neither is this trip report lol.

Hope you enjoy anyway.

Peace, Big Mike

PS - Everyone got shut out on Monday's drawing, standings stay the same.

Well, Wile E. Coyote definitely looks like his butt is "draggin'."

The rides are comparatively new to the park itself - only been there roughly 4-5 years give or take. There was a lot of signage on rides indicating "Action Amusements" from past pictures so it is generally assumed that they're rides owned by a showman who gave up when gas prices peaked and parked them at Ocean Beach to have a regular audience.

The real show stealer there is the arcade, which is packed with classic games.

I can just see it now, "Let's see where should I drop all my rides at," looking around as he's thinking, "Yep, this looks good". Its definitely an interesting tiny tiny park in an interesting setting. My whole thing is what about the building in the background is that the Maintenance building or is it a business where they got permission to setup shop out back?

Have fun Big Mike and enjoy your break from doing postings. Dang nab it, now where will I get my daily Big Mike fixes from, oh well guess it's time to start over from the beginning for the next week or so.

Hello Valuable Big Mike Readers!!!

Thursdays mean something to do by an amusement park that you are visiting!

Big Mike has had a running tradition to visit every Major League Baseball Stadium, and this was a part of his past accomplishments.

While visiting Six Flags over Georgia, or any of the other small parks nearby, if it is baseball season, Turner Field is right there for you to experience!

Big Mike has been averaging about two ball fields a year, and looks to continue it this year with Wrigley Field, which is on Big Mike's Top 50 Always Wanted To Do List!!

Who knows, maybe even Dodger Stadium or the California Angels in a few weeks if time permits!

Hope everyone enjoys!

Peace, Big Mike

PS - Reader of the Year Update!!!! So far this has been a bad week lol. No one has matched a single number all week so far in the Mon, Tue, or Wed drawing!
