simon8899
Always funny to see at which remote sites Moser kiddie drop towers end up....they really cornered the market... Another thing you cant do in germany and especially in scandinavia: Put up "no outside food or drinks" signs. In the Sommerlands the carpark is part of the park area - you pay all at the carpark gate - so you can always go to your car to get more food or drink from it.... STR8FXXXINEDGE
That zip line ride looks pretty fun. Sadly, I've never done any type of zip line. There's some courses in northern Michigan that I've been wanting to check out, but just haven't made it up there.
Brandy524
I've never done any kind of zip line either! It looks like so much fun, although I'd probably be terrified because of the height.
RoCo
The zipline does look like a blast, and not too terribly high for noobs like me. Two things made me LOL in this latest episode: "Banana Squadron" and this photo: The two expressions together are awesome.

Big Mike
Hey Folks, The Big Man here. One of those days where I just did not feel like putting an update up, so I threw something up just for the heck of it and to keep my perfect record going. I appreciate the handful of nice people who always have nice things to say, you know who you are Big Mike honestly can't wait to get to next week and take a week off for riding coasters and not having to put updates up for a week!!! Anyway, this is a very small park named Ocean Beach Park in Connecticut. Someone found this coaster sometime during the 2010 roller coaster season, so Big Mike went out to ride it after thinking he had Connecticut completed already. It's not much, but then again, neither is this trip report lol. Hope you enjoy anyway. Peace, Big Mike PS - Everyone got shut out on Monday's drawing, standings stay the same. Ocean Beach Park! Prices for passes. Prices for tokens. Map. Big Mike inserts 3 dollars for... .... 3 tokens. The coaster here is called Dragon. Reverse angle. Safety barriers to prevent accidents. I am not sure why the coaster is called Dragon when all I see is Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner? Train. Whatever the reason, Big Mike did not care as he just came to get a credit and get out of here. Other rides: The water slide was closed. Seen better days. The nicest part of this park is that it was on the beach, and that is about it. Hope you enjoyed for what it was worth. Peace, Big Mike
ahecht
Sketchy park is sketchy.
sspaz1000
It looks like a ghetto carnival on the beach, lol. But at least you can say you got the credit!
STR8FXXXINEDGE
I was gonna say it looks like the only good thing about this park is that it's on the beach, but you beat me to the punch in your last photo, haha.
cfc
I am not sure why the coaster is called Dragon when all I see is Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner? Well, Wile E. Coyote definitely looks like his butt is "draggin'."
Moose
I lived in New London for almost a year and I have never heard of this place.
HighRoller
Looks like the only permanent parts of this park are the kiddie train and the "Waterslide". glad you could find time to get the credit... not sure it'd be worth it for me. Have fun riding next week!
DirkFunk
The rides are comparatively new to the park itself - only been there roughly 4-5 years give or take. There was a lot of signage on rides indicating "Action Amusements" from past pictures so it is generally assumed that they're rides owned by a showman who gave up when gas prices peaked and parked them at Ocean Beach to have a regular audience. The real show stealer there is the arcade, which is packed with classic games.

mikeykaise
I can just see it now, "Let's see where should I drop all my rides at," looking around as he's thinking, "Yep, this looks good". Its definitely an interesting tiny tiny park in an interesting setting. My whole thing is what about the building in the background is that the Maintenance building or is it a business where they got permission to setup shop out back? Have fun Big Mike and enjoy your break from doing postings. Dang nab it, now where will I get my daily Big Mike fixes from, oh well guess it's time to start over from the beginning for the next week or so. Brandy524
I was going to say the same thing as Nicole! Looks like a ghetto fair on the beach. Thanks for showing us all these obscure places, Big Mike!
