Groteslurf
Hancock : 7.5/10 The special effects were great, the story weird and furthermore I don't really like seeing Will Smith as an actor.
knottslover77
Altough it had some pacing problems, while not as good as Casino Royale it was still a good sequel. A- --Jay

socalMAN123
The Color of Money 8/10 First off, any movie with Paul Newman in it is amazing. I was a bit skeptical when we got the movie, but once we started watching it, it had me captivated. The plot was pretty good and there was some killer quotes that Newman said. I think Cruise also did a pretty good job. Can't wait to see what movie we get next! ---Brent
Team Thriller
Disaster Movie 1\10 This is easily the worst movie I have ever seen. Whatever you do, don't waste any second of your life watching it. Not only is it not funny. It is also number one on IMDB bottom 100. I even stopped watching it after an hour or so. I would have stopped sooner, but I just couldn't believe it would get worst. --James "I want that hour of my life back" Flint

jmicha
Quantum of Solace 6/10 Although entertaining (which isn't really saying much since pretty much any movie entertains me), this was a huge let down. I loved Casino Royale, and expected a decent follow-up, yet this movie really felt like a filler movie before another Casino Royale style Bond movie. The action scenes were pretty good, but the storyline felt slow and drawn out. And another downside was seeing yet another beautiful Aston Martin basically destroyed and Alfas being thrown off cliffs and crashed head on into big trucks . I would recommend seeing it since it does continue the story of Casino Royale, yet not very thrillingly.
Hotlanta
Quantum of Solace: 6.5/10 There is something missing in this movie. The movie felt more like Bourne and very little like Bond. I am not asking for vanishing cars and all that nonsense but if you show somebody the movie without the titles nobody would guess it's a Bond flick. It's a good action movie but lacks the depth of Casino Royale. After Royale this was a let down
coasterdude5
Quantum of Solace 10.0/10.0 This move was PERFECT. The plot was easier to follow than Casino Royale. There were more action scenes and less "poker" scenes. The way in which the movie was filmed was very "artistic" and different. Especially the audio, it was very well-done. The beginning was great, the middle was great, and the ending was great. The bond girls were hot, as always. I highly suggest you go see it if you haven't already. supertrooper
Has any one seen Let The Right One In? Or have you at least seen the trailer for it? I had never heard of it until this past weekend, but it is showing at a local theater and I plan on seeing it soon. It looks really good...and creepy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyUB5_h2MK4
sfgadviperboi
BEST MOVIE EVER If you want to see one of the best movies ever you need to see Let the Right One In. I have never ever seen a better coming of age/love story with vampire elements ever. It has subtitles but it is so beautifully shot and the composition ... just incredible. I cannot rave enough about what I saw and apparently I am not alone... 97% RottenTomatoes Reviews Counted: 64 Fresh: 62Rotten:2 Yes it is different from the book in terms of cut elements but there is no need for the keeper of Eli to be a pedo. What works in a book is something not needed in a movie. Again I have no idea if you like this stuff but it is only in 9 theaters so if you do check it out. It was truly a masterpiece. ***They have already planned an Amercian remake. On google news if you query Let the Right One In you can read the new directors take...he makes dumb comments like "its very Swedish" umum yea that is the point since it was Swedish. His interview proves that the American remake is going to be a hacked up version of the source material. The new director even says the they want it to be released as soon as possible because Americans do not read subtitles. Do not be fooled and see this NOW. alpengeist04
^Sometimes it's hard to find that magic again after so many years. I liked Indy 4, if for nothing else, but to see Dr. Jones on the big screen one last time. Quantum of Solace: A- I really did enjoy this movie. Though like a few have mentioned, the action scenes and plot are a little hard to follow at times. Still this Bond is much more athletic and edgy, which is why I probably liked it so much. In the end it's not as good as Casino Royale, but still very good and a top 5 in 2008. Oh and the opening song has really grown on me, having listened to it a few times. DBru
I saw Eagle Eye last weekend and found it truly amazing. The action never lets up, and the plot is very well thought-out. I give it a 9.5/10.

socalMAN123
My family just started the Blockbuster at-home movie rental service and we have recieved our past two DVDs without a problem. I'm really enjoying getting DVDs that I've never seen every month, gives me a chance to broaden my movie history. On Friday we watched The Verdict, which was a pretty good courtroom drama. The ending was terrible, but the majority of the movie was pretty good. ---Brent
the ghost
I saw Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Kevin Smith's new flick, yesterday. It was OK, but not as outrageously entertaining as I'd hoped. Yeah Id say pretty much the same thing. I actually thought this was a pretty good movie and I have a lot of respect for Kevin Smith but I just think that his Indy stuff is better. I LOVED Clerks 1&2 but 1 is better and Dogma was just awesome. I cant wait for 2010, Tim Burton is finally directing the movie I have always thought would be perfect for him, ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Disney is involved, but as seen with nightmare Burton can make the most amazingly dark and beautiful family movie ever. I cant wait as Burton is my favorite Director of all time. Guy T. Koepp
So my wife dragged me to see the worst film of the last decade. "Twilight." If you enjoy long, dragged out scenes of teens being bored and uber emo moody. Then this is the film you have been waiting for. Absolutely nothing happens for the first 3/4ths of this film except two kids staring blankly at each other. I stepped out for about 5 minutes to go to the restroom. Asking my wife what I missed while I was out, she replied, "They climbed a tree, and stared at each other some more." The dialoguewas poorly written and hard to choke down. It is deliverd with all the nuances of the cast from the Hills. At best this POS should have been a CW movie of the week. Not a good film at all. Guy "The only thing these Vampires sucked was the $14 from my pocket and 2 hours of my life that I will never get back." Koepp
sfgadviperboi
It is a shame that movies like Twilight will reach much more of an audience than amazing vampire films like Let the Right One In.
