Tobias94 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Ok, i'm gonna be 15 then. Cause my birthday is on May the 7th so i'm gonna be 14 next year and 15 when the trip starts. Can i go by myself then???
SharkTums Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 ^No...and please stop posting. If you have anymore questions email or PM.
Goliath513 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I will be 18 by the time of the east coast trip! And I will send in my deposit within the next several days.
gotdane Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 The announced parks will put me at 195, credit wise. But that's only counting 13 of 17 parks...So, I'd hit 200 on this trip! Whoopdidoo.
jedimaster1227 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Edit: I emailed you upon your request. Rather than bulk up the thread with my long post, I will keep the information in the email.
krazekiddd Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I'm sending in my deposit for East Coast and I promise to do better than the MidWest payments.
ShannonSomerville Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Have you decided on what days you'll be attending SFA,KD and BGE. I could met you guys there(depending on which days that you're going to these parks during the trip). Thanks SES
BarryH Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 The East Coast trip sounds interesting. I hope we can visit Dutch Wonderland and get ERT on the Lady Gay!
Nightmare500 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Did you guys like the size of the midwest trip, or are you going to be hoping for a single bus for the East Coast?
SharkTums Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 ^It will be one or two depending on signups.
cprocks22 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 YAY! I talked to my parents about it and they seem to like the idea a lot. Right now I'm planning on Europe. Elissa if my parents have any questions can they e-mail you?
Rastuso Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 QUESTION: You mention a China and mini-Tokyo trip. Is this the same trip, or two different ones? Â Rastus
ms13 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Hmm, do I play it safe and stay in the US, or spend a little extra, and go to Europe? Â Might as well splurge a little and go on the Europe trip. After all, it's a once of a life time chance. Â Paypal will (should ) be there by the end of the week.
RC_dartarro Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Man I really want to go, but my parents are shutting me down before I can even fully explain the trip to them. Even though I'll be well over 18 as of the trip they still think about me as being vulnerable traveling alone.
SharkTums Posted August 22, 2007 Author Posted August 22, 2007 Some Answers... Â Parents are always welcome to email me. Â China and Mini-Tokyo will be two separate trips, but will be coordinated so they will be the same flight over to Asia if people want to combine them. Â RC, tell your parents you'll be fine!!!!
Reality15 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I can't wait to hear more details on the Texas trip. Maybe I'll be able to afford a trip next year.
jedimaster1227 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 RC, tell your parents you'll be fine!!!! Â I just tried the same approach... Didn't work out too well. As of right now, I can't go. I'm desperately going to try to keep working at it, but I doubt this is my year...
socalRCfan Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Elissa and Robb, Â Is there any chance of visiting Astroland and Playland on the East Coast trip? As one of the mentioned add-ons?
jason10 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I am determined to go on the East Coast Trip but we can't afford it. I am also determined to raise because, of the air fare, like 3000 pounds to go. I have to go but I don't know how to raise the money! But I just have to go.
matteocrepaldi Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I've sent the deposit for the East Coast!
kenshinmac Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Can I just ask what happens if we send in a deposit and the trip is already full? Also how quickly do you expect the spots to go? Â I'm pretty sure I want to go on the East Coast trip but I gotta try and get a few things organized before I can send off a deposit.
MilForSmurf Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Ok i just read all ten pages, and just wanted to check something. Does sending in your deposit secure your spot in the trip. I was wondering because i can't really get the money for the deposit until September 21st, but if sending it in earlier secures my spot then i will put some other things off till then. Thank you, can't wait for the trip!
