ELZ Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 ^ and I am not sure any ride does FUN better than Bouncy Bouncy. Â ...except after a huge Tapas meal. Â I loved Zaragoza, i wanna move that park to next door to my university. So Ramses, the N64 Log Ride and Bouncy Bouncy are nearby. Â Also the kidnapping of the lift attendants from Tibidabo would be perfect for the local Yorkshire Zoo...

Team Thriller Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I went to Phantasialand two weeks ago. The Black Mamba is underrated. I think that it's not AS good as Alpengeist, but yet it is still one of the better inverted coasters. Â But anyways, hope you guys had a great time. Great Update!
thomas2 Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 One thing I've been wondering for some time: Alot of people said Expedition Geforce wasn't running to it's full potential the day we visited the park. But does that mean the trim brakes were harder on that day or that the overal speed, performance, ... of the ride wasn't as good as other days?
Peejay Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 ^ Yeah, I guess the main reason was that the midcourse trims were on a LOT harder than they used to be. Usually it finishes the course with a lot more speed. Even the airtime on the last three bunny hills is just insane. I was actually a little bit disappointed that day. I mean, it was still a great ride, but you should definitively experience it another time without the trims, it's like a complete different ride.
Moose Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 ^ Do they ever run it without the trims anymore? Or were these rides with excessive (can there ever really be too much) airtime before they turned the trims to 11?
Peejay Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 ^I guess the trims are constantly on now. My last rides on it without the trims on that hard were in October 2005. Then last year people started complaining about the trims ruining the second half of the ride and the complaints never stopped since then. Obviously they were still on in July this year. I wonder why they had to slow the ride down. Maybe too high forces on the older trains?
robbalvey Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Going to unstick this thread. We will be working on the "BIG" Spain/Mini-Europe update within the next 4 weeks so keep your eyes out for that. Lots more photos, some videos, and then eventually (hopefully by December) we will have the Spain & Mini-Europe trip featured in the next "Coaster Expedition" DVD! Â Thanks again to everyone for reading about our Spain trip! Â (And now be sure to sign up for a TPR trip in 2008!) Â --Robb
Nrthwnd Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....... Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Thankyou Robb. Â Â (Edit: Post #1111 in this thread!)

Hope you guys enjoy following through all the crazy antics of these two TPR trips!  --Robb
nagro5 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I can only say one word.... WOW! This has to be the best PTR ever. Great job! Â It looks like you guys had alot of fun. Maby when I get the money I can go on some of these trips with you. Â There was one picture that I just fell in love with. http://www.themeparkreview.com/spain2007/parquewarner/parquewarner80.jpg Can you send this to me in full size if you have it. Thank you.
RIP Psyclone Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 That was great. Every trip report should have a Devo reference, so thanks, Robb. Also, I think the Spanish NBA player at Benidorm may be Pau Gasol, who now plays for the Lakers. Anyone know for sure?
Groteslurf Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Awesome update. Â It was great to see those again.
DenDen Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Just when you think TPR can't get any better, it does! I just spent 2 hours laughing my ass off reading that trip report. And I think everyone should have a Lou tumor. My Lou tumor, very trendy.
Chris Benvenuto Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Nice job on the update, the Glass maze video pretty had me LOLing through out a third of the update. Â For some odd reason after I finished reading it and closed out the PTR, I got a tingly yet happy feeling inside. I'm going to find a way to get my parents to pay for one of these trips, I really want to go that bad now. Â Chris "Tingly insides" Benvenuto
dandaman Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 So at 1:15am Jeff had a deep fried ham & cheese sandwich and a bottle of ketchup. DEATH!!! Â Jeff has excellent taste. Â A new coaster is planned for sometime in the future. It was originally supposed to open in 2007, then pushed back to 2008, but so farnothing seems to be happening with this project. Maybe 2009? Â It can't be any worse than Marineland's projected dates. Â Awesome stuff so far, and I'm only on Isla Magica.
jackskellington101 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Well, any useful activity today is done now. I am now compelled to see every morsel of this big update. Thanks Robb.
Louise Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I'm up to Terra Mitica, I'll look at the rest later or tomorrow. Loving it. So much awesomeness. Â Oh, and: LMFAO!!!!!
larrygator Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 That was great. Every trip report should have a Devo reference, so thanks, Robb. Also, I think the Spanish NBA player at Benidorm may be Pau Gasol, who now plays for the Lakers. Anyone know for sure? Â Confirmed - It was Pau Gasol!
coastercrazed49 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Great update you guys. I feel like I've been reading forever, but I'm only like halfway done. Looking forward to reading the rest.
coastercrazy216 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Robb, Â Thank you so much for doing this. They are really great. This update has made my day! Â Thank you so much Robb
Voyage_luvr Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Whoa, how did Holidog get to Parque de Atracciones, Madrid? Do they make those dog carts for other parks? I thought that Holiday World had those cars specially made for them.
