rcjp
^Do you mean a wooden coaster over 200 feet tall with inversions or one with an actual loop?
Projektion
I meant multi loopers, like a coaster that's sole purpose is inversions and, for the most part, nothing else, like Kumba, Dragon Khan, Viper, GASM, Collossus, etc.

CPSFMMCW
k crazy idea that ends the problems of the flying launched coaster. the coaster rolls out of the station in normal position like an invert, in the same postition without rotating. it then launches. after it releases from the cable and is rolling down the track, it passes over a fin or something that makes the seats rotate into flying position. it then goes into a MASSIVE PRETZEL LOOP! Nothing could go wrong!
JonnyRCT3
Vertical Loops, like Sky Scraper's, should be present in all future flying coaster models from B&M. Pretzels are great, but verticals provide the next closest experience, and are cheaper. Sky Scraper is the Maverick of Flying coasters, and proves to show bigger isn't always better. thrillseeker4552
I'd love to see a wild mouse with slightly outward-banked turns (like on El Locos). That way the wild mice can be trimmed to death and still give laterals/minor negative Gs!

Blatch
Here's an idea that I've had in my head for a long time: a wooden coaster with a a beyond-vertical drop. With RMC technology, do you think it would be possible? We already have a few of them with near-verticals.
rcjp
^I think that has already been discussed on SFGAmerica's thread and, yeah, I'm sure RMC would be able to do it.
KingRCT3
The problem would be the lenght of the train. A beyond vertical drop need short trains.
rcjp
^If it is a giga coaster with a, let's say, 95 degree drop it would be okay to have relatively long trains.
Xmeister
My really crazy idea: An adult themed park in Vegas. (No one has ever done it before. jedimaster1227
^Isn't Las Vegas already one giant adult themed park?
Xmeister
^ Fair enough. Although I would like to see some rides used in some more adult venues. This could broaden their appeal if people begin to associate them in places other where you would normally find rides. Â Same kind of idea as the waterslides that some of the Margaritavilles in the Caribbean have. Having the rides in places where you wouldn't expect. It is rather unique to see a waterslide entrance right next to a bar!
Ryan P.
Dark rides and roller coasters are starting to blend. Look at The Revenge of the Mummy in Universal. What if a roller coaster and a dark ride turned into a hybrid dark coaster. This would be implementing similar technology of Spider-Man in Universal with cars similar to Mummy. The cars would start off on a roller coaster track but then go onto a track that is attached to a base like Spider-Man's. It would switch to a motion base and then when the ride is ready, the base would align itself with the coaster track and then the ride would go back to a roller coaster. The use of this technology would allow dark rides to become more intense. Indoor roller coasters require much space and more height than dark rides so this technology would decrease space but allow for more thrills. KingRCT3
Oh, I had the exact same idea! That would allow a much more intense coaster experience as you don't have to carry the simulator base all the way through.

KingRCT3
I thought about a new ride concept for the Stratosphere tower. It would basically be a one pod version of the Sky Swat by S&S.  While the ride system being quite the same, the routine isn't. The thing wouldn't go round and round like the bigger version. Instead, that would be a less previsible and more dynamic program. Check the animation I made here.  I (poorly) animated three basics moves: - The drop'n'hang - While you don't expect it, the seat literally drops under you and takes you upside-down while experiencing an unique zero-g moment. - The cliff hanger - The ride start rotating forward then makes a sudden stop at the top, with you at 90° face first with the void for the airtime of your life. - The plummet - As above, the ride start rotating forward, but this time, it doesn't stop. It makes a full 360°, giving you the sensation to plunge straight to the ground.  What do you think? Would you dare to ride it?
rcjp
^I hadn't thought of anything like that, but sounds interesting. What I had imagined was an S&S power swing on top of a really tall building so that the swings extended out of the roof area in order to get people facing the ground. If it was to be built, Vegas would be the place to do it. ) Â I really want to say Fremont Street is pretty close to this. They have a zipline down the entire street. Concerts playing constantly and a ton of booze and clubs and restaurants all within a relatively short area. Â Problem with any kind of "theme park" even in Vegas is it still has to cater to families because kids will want to go ride rides regardless of if they "should" or not. I mean "booby mountain" would be great, but even in Vegas, I don't think they'd want to invest in something like that they know they have to restrict access to (as well as become the next big target for family groups.) Â They do have open bar pools (which is probably going to be the closest you'll see.) But as others have said, it is practically an adult theme park as it is (you got a mono rail, roller coasters, gambling, drinking, restaurants what more could you want?)
