PhishyBrewer Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 ^I know your right, but I swear that's what I saw. Anyway... oh well.
SharkTums Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 ^Did you see this before or after the nine shots of espresso last week!?!?
PhishyBrewer Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Found it! This is what I saw. I knew I wasn't crazy. Not that much at least. I guess this isn't a coaster though. In the Tobu animal park outer space!?Experience type attraction of the new feeling which designates “space exploration” as concept opens this spring! The japanese first indoor type attraction which reproduces the outer space making use of the mirror. From the child way to the aged person it has become the contents which can be enjoyed. In everyone pleasure* Start of business: 2007 middle of March Fee: Undecided
Jeezus Juice Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 ^ No, that's the replacement for their indoor spacey, um...show I guess? They were working on it last time I was there. I TOLD you that wasn't about the coaster! I'm putting you on starbucks restriction until after we get back. I swear I'm going to have to get one of those child harnesses for you when we get there, so you won't get yourself in trouble. Like get left behind at a love hotel or something! -Don "Hmm...maybe I can use my harness at the love hotel..." I went ahead and ordered one already, they were all out of domokun though.

ECZenith Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Oooo concept art... looks like it will have lots of airtime. Good thing I waited on going to Japan...
Thrillrider15 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 It looks a little like Maverick. I'll say it would be a fun coaster.
Loefet Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Were at Tobu Zoo this Sunday and took some pictures of the construction. I like the OSTR:s and added T-bars on this picture, well the original picture is of Superman Escape, so it will probably have the standard bar in the end. Oooo, new coaster trough the fence. From the G-Max queue. From the Monorail queue-line. And to finish it off, 2 from the ferris-wheel.
haux Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 That tiny hop after the twisting camelback looks a little insane.
ginzo Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 The best part of this, to me, is that now a fricken' zoo is going to have a better coaster than my home park (Kings Island).
coastered Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 This will be the same coaster as Djurs Sommerland in Denmark will have for 2008
Steffen_Dk Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 ^And it looks awesome It looks like it'll be packed with airtime - YAY!
PKI Jizzman Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 The best part of this, to me, is that now a fricken' zoo is going to have a better coaster than my home park (Kings Island). I second that.
Tanks4me05 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Well, the first time I heard ot Tobu Zoo getting the Mini Hyper I saw it was going to open in 2008 anyway, so I'm not complaining, and that was a few months ago.
Loefet Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Seems like no one have posted anything on this page for quite some time now, so here is a quick update. A few days after the new year I found this picture on www.tobuzoo.com and they say that the ride will open on the 2:nd of March. Today I found a blog-entry made yesterday with a bunch of photos of Heart Beat. Some are when they were installing parts of the drop, other like the one below and some pictures of the ride in general. Picture above and more picture is found at: http://nuri.at.webry.info/200801/article_8.html
Scaparri Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 This ride looks pretty freakin' sweet, yet family friendly at the same time. (hint hint hint Will Koch )
coasterdude5 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Looks awesome! I wish some parks over here would look into the mini-hypers more. Not sure why, but I could see one of these at Knoebels.
FLIPDUDE Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Whoa! Awsome! That ride looks relaly good and very forceful! That first train should pull some nice Gs.
Tanks4me05 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 The first drop looks rather insane. Maybe it was from the position that the picture was taken, but the pullout on the first drop looks rather small. In a good way. But I am concrened of the below average airtime that could occur on the first hill. The other hills, however, not so much.
coasterfreak101 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I can't get over that first drop...it's one of those things that looks horrible from some angles, like Behemoth's. Airtime should be pretty good, especially for a ride this small! There's some Maverick-tight crests and turns in there!
Gutterflower Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 from that angle the drop looks the wrong way round almost. as the pull out of the drop looks much tighter than the uhhh (Pull in?) at the top of the drop
Loefet Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 But then again, we tolerate much more positive forces then negative ones, so you can design a tighter pullout. But it's probably because of the angle of the picture. But I know someone that is going to Djurs Sommerland to take pictures of the clone of this one this weekend, and he could probably get a better picture of the drop to clarify things.
