MrsPhishy
That kid was definately doing something with his arm. Look at the muscle in his arm, it's clearly flexed. I think it's very possible that he was pulling on Tigger's costume, which I would imagine could make it hard for him to breathe. It looks to me like Tigger initially tried to get the kid to let go. When the kid wouldn't let go, he swatted at his head. Here's a link for anyone who hasn't seen it: link, click on the story "Tigger throws tantrum" on the right side of the page. I've heard that the parents took the kid to the ER. Seriously, I'd love to see the doctor's notes from that one. The press will have a field day with this, but I really think that kid provoked him. I seriously hope that family doesn't get a penny from this.
DerekRx
Yeah, I like how the kid had to go to the ER and is "feeling fine now, but he's on pain killers" If the kid got injured from that costume padded tap, I'd hate to see what would happen to him if I sneezed on him, he'd probably end up decapitated. What a terrific family of New England hoodlums.
coasterdude5
That video was a joke, it's easy to see what the dad wants in this case... America is sue-happy. The kid was doing something and I'm sure the guy had a "quick-reaction".

CaseyFish
Okay this is just from watching way to much CSI but if you look closely at the video you can tell the kid said something to tigger. He says it out of the side of his mouth you can see it and then that's when tigger reacts. You can see him lock his hand into place and I think the hit was purely accidently, but just look at the smirk on the kid right after he says something to tigger, he reacts.....very odd and the camera goes down as the kid is smiling, hmmmmm very interesting. speedracer
Tigger speaks out! Poor guy was being choked by the brat and was just trying to escape: http://www.wftv.com/news/10697738/detail.html Jerry Monaco, Sr. said he took his son to the hospital a day after it happened because his son complained of neck problems. He was even prescribed a painkiller, codeine. I love to give this scumbag and his looser son a real arse whooping just for being such pathetic leeches. . Primogen18
God I hate to see what the rest of the trailer park thinks of this little prick when he gets home. "OMG, watch out I just might... slap you with this tissue" If that kid went to my school, Id beat the crap outta him just for being such a p*ssy. Painkillers, uhg, seriously is THAT what I have to share the future of this country with?
taytig
This is unbelievable. It was obvious from the video that the boy did something and Tigger was trying to get him to stop. The apparent hit looks much more like Tigger trying to get his arms between himself and the guest. Having been in that situation (see screen name), the head doesn't give that much clearance for arm movements and if the back of Tigger gets pulled, you could easily lose your balance, fall or get seriously hurt. They were at a railing and if Tigger did not try and stop the boy, he could have ended up onthe other side of the fence. I think that Disney should hold strong and NOT give the family anything except banning them from the parks! The dad is obviously trying to get something - he sees an opportunity to get some $$. Let's hope Disney gives them a ride out of their parks for good - and don't let the gate hit them on the way out! David
Chadley
And after watching the video with the fathers comments I could only think one thing. Tigger attacked the wrong person, he should've went for the dad. I couldn't believe the title they had for the article on one news service. "When Disney characters attack!", (I wish I was kidding). easytoremember
wow, just wow. This is the most sorry attempt to make a few $$$ ever. I can not believe this. The sad thing is they will probobly get something out of this.
the sound
I just saw the video then. That sort of "Attack" is not done, just for fun. The kid has provoked him in some way or another, because he was laughing when he was being punched. I hope Tigger is found not guilty, and that Disney step up and fight these guys. BTW, i have also found a second thing with this video. Fox News sucks! And so does the lip-sync!

Ryan King
In case people have yet to see the video-: Also, just a guy trying to sue Disney for some extra spending cash...*sigh* -Ryan
TheBannedKid
I'm sure Tiger could have acted in a better and more Disney appropriate manner but the kid definitely did something to the costume...looks as if he tried unzipping it from the back. The cast member should be fired and the case should be dropped. Disney could sue for the kid's actions as well as the family could, rather are, sue(ing) for Tiger's actions. It just would make more sense to drop it. If only that were Ryan that Tiger punched...then it would make it a whole lot more enjoyable
DATman
Okay, how old is that kid? He was definitely doing something, as he probably just didn't want to be standing next to Tigger. And the whole "tape showing only a little of it" is probably becuase the dad didn't want them to see what really happened.
IceDragon
I'm suprised we don't hear more about these tings happening. Even at Fright Fest, characters aren't allowed to even touch a guest. In pictures, hands must be in clear view at all times. This is to avoid stupid things like this. Thank God i havent heard of a law like this in England or i could sue Thorpe Parks asses to hell (not that i would want to) i got grabbed on the ankle, arm, shoulder, got barged out of the way, head and stomach (yes, while in the mazes, which actually intensified the experience, especially as my head was held still while one of the very last scare actors screamed right into my face! they have some pretty gruesome face paints, let alone the breath! lol) joking aside, im sure it was either meant to be playful over-the-shoulder hug or it was sheer accident about the kid being hit on the head. no damage could've come to him, its like a big teddy-bear! Golfie
I think this is another case of money-hungry lawsuit-happy families. Ten bucks says the girl just patted the kid on the head.
IwantRevenge
Dude! I just saw the video the kid tripped! and tigger went to help him up. sueing for that is like sueing your pencil for spelling errors.
Carnage
The cast member should be fired and the case should be dropped. Why should the cast member be fired? He was just defending himself. And he barely brushed the kid. Firing him would be as bad of a knee jerk reaction as suing Disney.
ghost007jas
Argh I hate this kind of thing. These "money-hungry lawsuit-happy families". Its like they have nothing better to do with there lives then sue people for no cause. I saw the video and I can not see any way that a good judge or jury (Or whatever it is they'll use in this kind of case) will let this stand. Or at least we can only hope... TheGreatOne
One news website actually posted the injury report. Under "extent of injury" it said "none". These people are just looking for attention. Hilariously, the website didn't even black out these people's home address or phone number. I imagine they're getting some nasty calls and letters. BeemerBoy
^ And that's the great thing here. Tigger's "slap" may end up feeling like a tickle compared to the ridicule and possible beat downs the father is setting his son up for by pursuing this foolish suit. Actually I think the publicity is getting them to back down. I was listening to the radio on my way to work this morning and they mentioned that the family was not longer sueing, but just wanted an apology. Something about the world thinking they were a family of money grubbing losers. (DJs words, not the family's ) Disney should hang them out to dry and force THEM to make the apology. Sue them for slander or something. Take their trailer away.
BeemerBoy
^ Well, that's good to hear then. Now, Disney's apology should read something like this: "We're sorry you had to learn from Tigger that you're a bunch of idiots, and your son's a wuss. Try your crap at Six Flags next time, and leave us alone. Thanks."
