Reality15 Posted July 15, 2010 Share Posted July 15, 2010 In the 2nd article about the new ride, if I'm not mistaken, Kinzel already admitted that the new ride won't be built by Intamin (IntaRide). Wouldn't word coming from the CEO rule out Intamin as a possible manufacturer? Just saying, because Screamscape isn't always 100% gospel. I'd give them 20% at best. chadster Posted July 16, 2010 Share Posted July 16, 2010 I think CP and the CP "spy's" are going to screw with us a little, heck, we have gone from B&M dive, to a woodie, and now a Star Flyer. I rode the one in Orlando, and I agree with a previous post, it's a very uneasy feeling, and couple that with it being at a "fun" park that while I'm sure it's safe, kinda gives you a feeling that they may or may not inspect their rides everyday....This is one that I will have to see to believe. It snapped and fell over. Actually, it didn't *quite* go that way. The wind stayed at a certain speed for a very long time, hitting the tower at a constant angle and rate. At that date, no, everyone's still free. I haven't been to CP for a while but the waits could be, depending on when you go, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.
