I have decided that my most desired conclusion is that Tony gaslights the crowd into saying they've already been on the RMC'd Mean Streak, it met the end of its operational life, then implodes it by pushing down on a comically sized plunger.

 

I will accept a full POV and stats for the new Mean Streak as an alternative.
