It's the first time I'm using paypal so I was wandering:

how long does it take for a paypal payment to arrive to destination?

How do I know that Robb had received my money?

Also another question:

when will I know if I'll be part of the group or not?

Elissa stated in an earlier post (seriously, is anyone reading??) that she tends to check their Paypal account once every 24 hours. She will email you and verify that they've received it.

For you it will probably be easier to switch in Europe. Switching in America is asking for trouble. Why don't you take a train to Paris and fly direct to CVG from there?

Okay thanks for the tip. I think I'll switch in London then since taking the train to Paris would cost more than a flight to London

And make sure to look very closely at your dates/times for airfare before booking.

Don't book a flight, not notice that it lands the following day,and then book a 2nd flight that leaves hours before the 1st lands.

I'm not naming names though. Barry.

^Dude, honestly, if you have so many questions, issues, problems, you might want to reconsider doing an organized trip.

I'm pretty sure your question was covered in chat.

WillMontu [7:24pm]: Will many of the parks on the trips be strict about cameras on rides?

SharkTums [10:30pm]: Will, unfortunetly in our litigious country most of the parks will not allow cameras on rides like they did in the UK. We will try to arrange things, but I would not expect too much from the US parks. Spain and Japan were more liberal, except for at Fuji Q and Thunder Dolphin. Regardless, it's important to mention that ALL PARK RULES MUST BE FOLLWED! If anyone is found breaking a park rule in order to film on rides, they will be asked to leave the park and possibly the trip on their own cost.

There's your answer.

edit: yea, listen to her ^

Yes I agree with that, but it's just that alot of my savings will be put in this trip and it's a pretty important trip for me, so I want to know every little thing and detail about it, and make sure nothing goes wrong. I can't afford anything to go wrong. I want everything to be right even if I have to keep asking annoying questions

Sorry but that's just the way I am. I like to plan things in advance. Don't worry, I won't be annoying on the trip

Regarding my question: I thought that when we had ERT, the parks would give us something extra, like bringing on camera's. Apparently they don't Sorry but I didn't know that

If you have so many questions, then look them up like some of the other people do. There is a wealth of information already in this thread and around the site. Just go an find it instead of posting stuff like that that has been talked about many times. I understand that a lot of your money will be put into the trips, but act more responsible around the boards.

Edit: ^ERT isn't enough of an "extra thing" already?

Many of these questions have been answered in the flyer or the Q&A transcript. Try reading thsoe before asking the question.

Not in the midwest. Some parks will be more lenient then others(like the Dells). But a park like Cedar Point will have a strict no camera policy at all times, no exceptions.

Very few US parks allow cameras on rides.

Can I bring cameras in my single person room even though I'm only 13 and I don't want to travel in the bus?

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you need written permission for that.

Gosh, just read teh thr3ad5.

I will echo what Elissa said. If you have this many questions or issues, maybe you should ask yourself this question "Is this trip for me?"

In all honesty, we want to make these trips as accessible to EVERYONE who might be interested. And we will continue to patiently answer every question that is asked, but in reality, you do need to be at least somewhat of a "seasoned" traveler and theme park enthusiast to really participate in them.

Yes, we are going to do the bulk of the work for you in regards to planning, etc so the trip will be as hassle-free as possible for you, but really, if you have so many questions beyond what is on page 2 of the flyer or beyond what was in the chat, then maybe doing a trip like this might not be for you.

That is just my very honest recommendation.

Here is all you need.

1. Passport

2. currency for that country

3. plane ticket

4. clothes

5. personal hygiene products

6. brain

The first five you can purchase, the last was just luck of the draw.

Seriously what R&E do for you is so amazing that you don't need to check every detail. I had never done this and I had very few questions most of them regarding the #2 item on my list.

The reason so many of us get defensive is a combination of your lack of reading and our respect for our friends organizing this trip. It's ok to ask new questions, its not ok to ask the same question over and over and over. I don't use paypal and I still know the answers.

Questions at this time should be vital to one making a decision whether they can go or not as the deposit is refundable for a few months.

You are putting your trust in Robb and Elissa hands that they will provide a fun and valuable trip.

I don't think there was one person from the UK Trip that wouldn't take a trip with them again, if they had the money. If that is not good enough for anyone too bad, because that's the best assurance you can get from 50 strangers.

The sad thing is that it is getting difficult to differentiate from the questions that are jokes and those that are honest. I mean Wes is trying to make ridiculous questions but they really aren't that much worse that what has been asked.

Itinerary - The UK Trippers did not find out the exact itinerary for trips (parks, hotels, meals, ERT) until a month before we left. You will not know these details for the 2007 trips until a similar time.

Weather - Robb and Elissa can not predict the weather. If you need to know the average temps for a location do a search on the Web. We expected 70 degree farenheit and cloudy when in England and it turned out to be a sunny and a heat wave.

Some of the questions being asked are quite good, but should wait to be asked until you know you are on the trip or as we get closer to the trip date.

I'd love to go to the Midwest trip. Unfortunately, I wouldn't know if I'd be able to go till after deadline. Maybe next time.

are there still some seats in the magical mystery tour in spain? I just came back from holidays (no web for 3weeks...) and i wonder, looking at the size of the thread, if it it still possible to apply for the trip.

Yes I think you're completely right and thanks for being honest. Okay, I now regret asking that last question. I just thought there would be a difference between taking a camera on board and taking a camera onboard during ERT. I have read this thread completely and also the chat Q&A so I did do some research, but I just thought parks would made a difference during ERT.

I'm sure you guys are/will do everything you can, and that's much appreciated here. I shouldn't have asked so much questions, you guys will solve anything anyway. From now on I put my trust in your hands 'cause I'm sure you won't dissapoint me

I really hope to do this trip. Like stated in the flyer, this is a great way for international people to experience some of the best of the US. And looking at the parks, it just blows me away. I'll try to sent in my deposit as soon as possible.

And I am a "seasoned" traveler and theme park enthusiast! I have travelled many hundreds of miles within Europe to ride coasters, not to mention all the city trips. I actually love to travel!

In all fairness, I think there is a difference between someone who is 18 years old and someone a little older. I won't deny that I was somewhat nervous about travelling abroad for the first time, spending more than $3000 in one deal for only the second time, and going on a trip with people I don't even know.

Now, in hindsight, its easy for me to say it was no big deal, and that Robb and Elissa are just awesome at this stuff, and that you will get more than a value out of the deal, but I don't think young people should be chastised for being cautious. Well, anyone, really.

Just my thoughts from a perspective a little closer to wrebbit's. You should come on the trip dude, it's gonna rock.

OMG Joe! Your avatar is SOOOO HOT!

As for going on any trip with TPR, you couldn't be in better hands! We're all spending our hard-earned money, and nobody hopes for things to go wrong. I've found that Robb & Elissa work to unparalleled levels to ensure that every aspect of the trip has been taken care of. No worries!

It looks like I'll have a very similar avatar in a couple of minutes

Anyway, I agree with you Joe, but I just wasn't in with the fact that all of those questions were answered previously. A little bit of reading and comprehension goes a long way.

Oh Hercules, that's gonna look NICE! Have you picked your avatar out yet? I can't wait!!! This game looked much better for ND than last week!

So who's on deck for next week's bet?
