SharkTums
^Can you shed any light on the decision not to include children? Is this a commercial targeted to teens and adults only? Just cause there would be nothing cuter in this world that a commercial of KT riding the pirate ship or walking down the midway, like some of the commercial shots posted! Come to think of it it is rather peculiar since they are trying to become more family friendly and have Mr. Six's Dance Coaster coming this year. atem122
I'm betting that they'll just use old stock footage of kids at their parks if the commercial is for SFMM. If it's not for SFMM, then whatever company's behind the filming probably just didn't want to deal with the liability of children.

Just cause there would be nothing cuter in this world that a commercial of KT riding the pirate ship or walking down the midway, like some of the commercial shots posted! Totally agree! Being a school day, they wouldn't want school age kids present because they would need an on-set tutor. As far as non-school age kids like KT, even though a parent would be there to sign any liability forms, they are only looking for "extras". This entire call is for "extras". Meaning, the have any principle actors they will need already casted. Little kids wouldn't *necessarily* stand out or be visible in a crowd full of extras. Look on the bright side: At least KT can participate in the "give a day, get a day" promotion. ....oh wait.... ...never mind...
SharkTums
^LOL, poor KT is at this terrible age right now where she has to pay for all the parks, but can't get any perks!!! At least she likes the Give a Day, Get a Day commercial!?!?
cooksta77
Did anyone else get the email about the Haiti concert on the 27th? http://www.sixflags.com/magicMountain/events/haiticoncert.aspx?j=10480366&e=COOKSTA77@HOTMAIL.COM&l=2211254_HTML&u=90355286&mid=33117&jb=0 Six Flags Magic Mountain has partnered with I Heart Haiti Kids and Urban Born to host a benefit concert and book drive on Saturday, February 27. Hosted by Kyla Pratt. The I Heart Haiti Kids organization’s goal is to raise awareness, collect books and raise funds to rebuild schools for Haiti kids. Anyone bringing two new or gently used school or children’s books (appropriate for K-12 school-age children) to Six Flags Magic Mountain the weekends of February 27-28, March 6-7 or March 13-14 will receive a discounted admission ticket of $24.99. Wes
^ As William said on the previous page, it's about having to hire on-set tutors when you involve kids in your shoots. Having worked on similar shoots to what SFMM is doing, even having one kid means there has to be a tutor hired as well.
austinlee
Screamscape has been updated to show that the first reward is a skip the line pass good for one ride. This would still be helpful since I will most likely use it when I visit the park during Summer Vacation. It's still a nice thing to get after only one visit. http://www.screamscape.com/html/industry_news.htm#SixFlags

I believe that after your first visit, you will be emailed a voucher to be redeemed at Guest Relations where you will be given a pass to skip to the front of the line for one ride. For the record, this is how the Funatics program was implemented at SFGAdv last year. First redemption was a "Skip the Line Pass". I beleive the voucher code was e-mailed to me within 24 hours. Then you had to enter the voucher code at the Six Flags online store and print the voucher. The voucher gave specific instructions where you needed to present your season pass and voucher (there was one central location) to receive the Skip the Line Pass that was good for 2 people. Guest
do you guys know which rides are currently closed? I'll be there on march 13rd and i've heard that x2 is closed :S
coasterking2981
^X2 is open. The only rides that are closed right now are Deja Vu, Ninja, and Roaring Rapids.
austinlee
^^ Batman is also closed right now but is scheduled to reopen on 3/7. So if the schedule holds up it should be open when you go on 3/13. ^^^^ That is what I am the most curious about too. If the pass is valid on everything I will use it on X2. If is can only be used on Regular Q-bot rides I will use it on Deja Vu since it usually has one of the longest lines on busy days other than X2 and Terminator.
