I never rode it but it was always haunting to look at as I visited Hurricane Harbor. I'm really new to this coaster stuff. I always loved to look at them but REALLY scared to ride them. Last year my son turned 14 and I didn't want him to be a woosie like his dad so I started to try coasters. So far so good. The thing about Flashback is it's the only one (maybe there is a good reason for that) and now it's gone.

thanks, I'm new (well it's my first post, I've been watching for a year) I don't know how to work all this but we will figure it out. I took it from the pic above.

I will miss Flashback...

I remember on those busy busy spring break days, you can always count on Flashback to be there for you with a minimal line

Seriously though, if you sat in the 3rd row in one of the middle two seats, it was a great ride!!!!

^An enclosed water slide. You sit on a raft, and don't get too wet. It's in the regular park of the park and not Hurricane Harbor, so you go on it wearing your regular clothes.

Not a great pic, but it's the best I could find:

It was operating at the beginning of winter. Recently it's been very cold and thus, operation is a bit more sporadic. But it has been open more regularly in recent months, especially to try and compensate for Tidal Wave being down.

since it looks like they are taking it down piece by piece is their any chance of it being re-assembled like earlier stated

^ I think they're taking it down piece by piece so it's easier for the scrap yard to process

Eric

maybe but then didn't they say that flashback may be rebuilt later in 08.. but then what is going where that huge plot of land is where psyclone was

^ That does raise a good question. I haven't heard one way or the other about Sierra Falls staying in the park. During its time, I've probably been on it twice, and, yes, you can get quite wet.

I'm pretty sure it's not getting relocated within the park. I believe it has been stated earlier that Flashback is set to become scrap metal, since they can't find a buyer for the ride.

No way. They are doing it "piece by piece", but they are showing no mercy. I watched them cut off a support piece...and just let it fall to the ground. No care taken at all.

ok then... but what is going in that huge dirt plot of the old roller coaster

^ No one knows yet. More than likely some sort of family attraction, being that "family friendly" is the direction the park is taking.

Just my guess, though.
