  1. 100- Flight of Fear (KI) 150- Speed 200- Triple Hurricane 250- Wild Thing 300- Motorworld Express 350- Coming soon.... it'll be at a south CA park.
  2. Cascada in Milwaukee with benzo41190. Ben ate a whole little caesars pizza and a two liter afterwards. It was pretty fun even though it was at this crappy little club.
  3. I think that using your site as a reminder everyday is a very good method. Good luck losing the rest of your weight. The healthier you are, the longer you live. The longer you live, the more coasters you get to ride!!
  4. I live near Chicago. Today it snowed probably about 4 inches and it's supposed to snow until tommorrow at noon!! Snow day!
  5. This is all I could find on the Six Flags Fiest Texas site: Your best bet still might be Over Texas. If it were me, I'd probably go with Over Texas.
  6. You can take the sixflagsguy5 method and be a total cheap for 6 months of the year and then go on the cheapest possible trips during the coaster season. In the long run it's all about fun.
  7. I was there just this summer and it was kind of depressing to see an old wooden coaster just standing there with an abandoned station. It's too bad that the ride closed years ago, but I guess stuff just happens like that.
  8. Hit my 400th different coaster. Ride Fahrenheit, Ravine Flyer, MOA coasters, Kingda Ka, El Toro, Coney Island, and weird coaster at bowcraft. Trips: - All of southern CA - SFSTL, SDC, CC, Magic Springs - SFGAM, Dells, Little America - MOA, valleyfair, como town, arnolds? - Waldameer, Fun Spot, CP - East coast trip to hit most of PA, north NJ seaside parks, SFGADV, and NYC area parks. - Dollywood (after many years of waiting), beech bend, visionland, lake winnie, maybe SFOG - (maybe)- PKI, stricker's, and nearby credits Basically this year I'm trying to mix in riding some of the new coasters with getting tons of credits.
  9. Now you just gotta get her on a coaster. At least you won't have to feel guilty about riding all the kiddie coasters for a good 8 years.
  10. I didn't know that. That really makes it a difficult decision. If Superman isn't going to be open at SFFT, then I'd probably stick with SFOT.
  11. This coaster looks like it will be very good. Voyage and Hades are both great rides and from what I've read, Boardwalk Bullet is pretty good also. I'm hoping to make my way out there sometime this year one way or another.
  12. I'm a little bit confused by this article. Does Six Flags want to tear it down in order to possibly avoid losing the suit or do they plan on tearing it down for other reasons? If they're trying to win the suit by tearing down the ride, that is really messed up.
  13. ^Yeah, it's probably from that. The two Gravity Group coasters that I've been on have been very aggressive (not necessarily rough). I guess that there's a price to pay for having an intense wooden coaster. Hopefully it'll reopen soon so taht everyone can go get their offseason fix.
  14. I think that it's just a cool experience riding the Togo's because there aren't that many left in the U.S. I'm very excited about riding Riddler's in the spring. The only stand up coaster that I though much of was Georgia Scorcher.
  15. If I eat at SFGAM it's usually Panda Express or I'll pitch in 2 bucks with a couple of friends to get a huge pasta plate at Angelo's. I guess I'm just used to the SFGAM food, so it isn't that good anymore. I haven't tried Johnny Rocket's yet...
  16. I have to agree, food is very good, especially when you're an ACEr. I usually try not to eat in the parks, but I'd have to go with best= hersheypark and worst= six flags parks (too much papa johns and too expensive).
  17. As said above, it's really up to what you consider a roller coaster. Personally I count anything that's on rcdb, including water and powered coasters. Some people have a problem with counting water because it's not entirely a roller coaster. The problem with powered is that they aren't really running on gravity the entire time. They do partially maybe for about 10 seconds on the downhill parts, but that's about all. People might give you a hard time if your a credit ho and count everything, but it's all in good fun.
  18. Oh this is just great. Another credit that I get to miss out on after waiting 8 long years to go to SFMM. As long as Dejavu's open I'll be happy.
  19. I'd have to say that coasters (especially wooden) have good days and bad days. I think that weather and temperature might have to do with it. The only cases that I've noticed this in are Viper at SFGAM, Gwazi, and Shivering Timbers. I know that I have 'good' and 'bad' days where I feel the slightest bit of airtime or when I don't feel anything at all. I also think that opinion has to do a lot with the coaster experience. Before I rode Manhattan Express or Shockwave at Kings Dominion I was expecting horrible and rough rides. Both of these rides turned out to not be that bad and I actually liked them a lot. There are some people who I'm good friends with that let the general opinion get to them and start complaining about the coaster before they even ride it. I try to ignore all of these factors before riding a coaster for the first time, so that I can give it an honest and unaffected review. Just as a side note I rode Boulder Dash at night a few times and I though it was awesome even though it was a little bit rough.
  20. I like B&M's and Togo's. B&M's are a little bit better, because they have a better variety of inversions. I was very suprised with the stand up coaster at King's Dominion.
  21. You have a very good point. The only reason I don't like the whole thing is because I'm going there in March and it probably won't be open.
  22. All of those parks are very nice. I've been to all of them and had a lot of fun. I recommend either Six Flags Over Texas or Six Flags Fiesta Texas, depending on where your Aunt and Uncle live. If you're significantly closer to one of the parks, then I would suggest just going there, because both of the parks are great. Six Flags Over Texas: Great coasters such as Mr. Freeze, Shockwave, Titan, and Batman. La Vibora, Judge Roy Scream, Texas Giant, and the mine train coasters are also a ton of fun. Over Texas had a lot of smaller rides everywhere. I don't ride many flat rides, so I can't give too much advice in that area. They have a decent sized kiddie area for your cousins. Six Flags Fiesta Texas: They also had a bunch of great coasters, but don't have as many as Over Texas. Superman Krypton Coaster is a great ride and is one of my favorite steel coasters. The park is well themed and has a lot of stuff to do. Seaworld: Even though I would chose one of the other parks if I were to go back to Texas, I thought you might chose this park because of all the things there are to do for the entire family. This park is really cool even though there are only four coasters (three if you don't count water). Steel Eel is very good and has decent airtime. Great White is just like Batman at Over Texas. They also have a kiddie section that would be fun for your cousins. The shows are very good and are geared towards a family audience. Seaworld and Fiesta Texas aren't that far away from each other, so if you wanted to you could probably talk your family into doing both parks if you had an interest.
  23. 4d was far fetched enough, but 5d... At least it'll make them some extra money and won't be as rough as people have said.
  24. Many theme parks with Intamin 2nd and 3rd generation freefall towers closed down their drop towers after the accident at Kentucky Kingdom. This was done just to make sure that they weren't operating an unsafe ride and to cover themselves if something were to happen on their ride. Nothing happened on S:TOP at SFSTL to my knowledge. It was closed in July when I went there.
