Wouldn't they be able to fix a problem with the foundation and soil? Unless the ride structure has already moved/shifted... :? That really sucks though if it never reopens, it looked like quite a fun woodie.

I know alot of people are saying this is a pretty but you have to take into consideration that La Ronde doesn't have alot of room left for twisty sections or an elaborate layout. http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=45.525202,-73.535753&spn=0.007212,0.013576&t=k&hl=en In no way do I think this will be a coaster that gets into peoples top 5 list but I think it will just be one of those genuine, fun rides that everyone will like, no matter where it is on their list. The only thing I am a little dissapointed about is that it isn't Canada's first true 'hyper' coaster. But oh well, looks like a great fun ride anyways!

Most Painful Ride - Those old looping starships with the hard-as-brick horsecollars that curve INTO your ribs. And then there are the lapbars which squish everythough south of the border! :shock: They would be really fun rides if it weren't for the awful restraints. Most Fun - Either Dueling Dragons or a Mondial Topscan.

Sucks that you couldn't get him to ride Superman!

I don't think this new guy will be as good as the previous Bonds. I think a much better choice would have been Clive Owen.

I don't think it should be torn out. If it is, then at least sell it or give it away... Though I've never ridden it, I think it looks like fun but sort of painful with those otsr's. :?

Lol..I'm not sure to what parks you have been to, but IJST definatly does not have the best or even moderatly good themeing. All it is is a few shipping containers and rocks and gravel everywhere! :? All this season and during construction before I had a chance to ride IJST at Pcw I had never raised my hopes of it being a 'good' coaster. When I first rode it back at the beginning of September it actually surprised me and I enjoyed it. For a family coaster it is pretty decent. The only part I think is lame is the part where the trains swerve around the cars. However, I guess without all the effects working properly I never really got the full experience. The first helix was really fun and had more g's than I ever thought it would. The tunnel at the end was also fun. I just hope that the effects are working properly and regularly next season. Of my 3 visits to Pcw this year, none of the onboard effects were working and the water SQUIRT was only working on one day.

I really hate it when people bunch up and stop at the entrance to the station of a coaster deciding what row to go in! I mean come on, if you have been waiting in line for the past 30 minutes you should at least have the general area of the train you want to sit in! And of course the usual overpriced food, some parks strict no reride policy etc

Thanks for the pictures! Its pretty neat to see pictures and news from parks that are hardly ever mentioned! Dubai is one of the thousand places I still need and want to visit...all I ned to do is win the lottary now

I celebrated thanksgiving by having THREE tukey dinners.....One at my moms house, dads house and another at my grandparents. Every year I learn to hate turkey all over again. :shock: I also went to Pcw for the last regular operating day

Hell yeah!! Shame they already lost and that Sundin was injured I'm still not a big fan of the shootout thing, I don't think a shootout can or ever will replace the heartpounding thrills of watching a team duke it out in overtime :shock: I don't think it will be that hard, and from the looks of it last night during all the game most if not all the fans are back

Great pictures! I also agree about the Comet. I have yet to ride it, but it looks like a great woodie that is hardly ever talked about anymore!
