  1. One of the greatest players. Its nice to see him retire in a good state though instead of having to retire of an injury or something.
  2. Here are some pictures of the S&S tower at Marine Land; http://www.coaster-net.com/pg/marineland.php The tower is actually around 300 feet high and the hill is about 150 feet high. I think it is around the same size as Cedar Point's Power Tower. You can even see the tower from the US side of Niagara Falls
  3. Farts are definatly better sharts

    CP questions

When the park is that empty as shown in those pictures, do all the rides stay open?
  5. Did you unzip the file and then use the track packager to install it?
  6. Info: This is not a recreation of the original Minebuster, but more of an adaptation of the original design. The original Mighty Canadian Minebuster (MCM) was modeled after the Shooting Star at Coney Island in Ohio. When the MCM was first built it was a thrilling and fun woodie but as the years passed and after Paramount took over operations at the park, the roller coaster was slowly retracked and reprofiled to accommodate the water park being built around it. The profile of the ride today is very different from when it was first built and sadly, the ride has very little, if any airtime on any of its hills. The roughness of the ride is nothing to be proud of either. In the end, what was once a thrilling roller coaster is now a giant wooden minetrain. With this NoLimits creation I wanted to build the ride how I would have liked it to be built. With my recreation of the ride it now has airtime filled hills, it is smoother with no back breaking shuffling and jackhammering and the helix at the end actually has some lateral g's! Although I changed the profile of the hills, the basic layout is the same as the original MCM. This is a ride built purely for my own pleasure and features many elements that I think every wooden coaster should have. I could and would ride this version of the MCM all day long if given the opportunity. Hopefully you enjoy your ride on the Mighty Canadian Minebuster just as much as I do! Pictures of the original Minebuster; http://tinyurl.com/9j6a7 http://tinyurl.com/7n669 Screenshots and info on this NoLimits creation; http://nldc.interfix.net/p1315 Notes; - Thanks to all the people who tested this thing out and gave me some feedback - Thanks to Hansixx for allowing me to use his Alpengluehn environment - Thanks to Dj Tommy for texturing the tunnel - Thanks to Real for the wood texture - There is over 1500 trees in this track, so if you get really low fps, either turn down your settings or turn off scenery. The ride will still funtion without the scenery. - Wide supports are 100% custom - All textures are either from the OC or http://www.3dxtra.cygad.net - Sorry for the crappy 3ds objects, lol! - The track packager is required to ride this track. You can get it here: http://tinyurl.com/9al74 Enjoy your ride! -chris MightyCanadianMinebuster.zip screenshot
  7. This isn't from a video, but I have always thought this guy looks like Rodney Dangerfield, lol http://www.themeparkreview.com/europe2005/moviepark/moviepark3.jpg

  9. Paramount Canada's Wonderland - Wildbeast (if it is running fast)..if not, then Vortex, especially this season with it running only 5 cars per train.

  13. ^Yeah I don't really like Norton either. IMO, Pc Cillin is leaps and bounds above Norton..
  14. Mmm, I had to treat myself tonight
  15. You are right, they don't fit with any of the bands on the Taste of Chaos tour. I went to Taste of Chaos last Febuary (I think it was Feb...) here in Toronto just to see them. I really don't understand why they were ever on this tour with those other bands... I also can't believe I waited around and watch the Used after Killswitch Engage played, I must have had way too much to drink..lol! Rise Against is definatly a good band to see live. The last time I saw them was back in March and they put on an incredible show here in Toronto. I believe it was their biggest headling show to date, was a sold out crowd. The best thing is is that they played almost everyone of their songs. They played for nearly 3 hours!
  16. lol, and have you read this contract?
  17. It is kind of pointless to even bother comparing them as they arn't even made of the same thing let alone the same ride type! But for the fun factor, I think El Toro will take the cake.
  18. Its looks like quite a nice building..only to be replaced with a Subway stand? Pathetic if you ask me....
  19. I got hit in the head with one of these while working at my dads work when I was 15..... Not the truck..lol..the garbage container door. I was throwing some trash into the container when the door started shutting because of the wind. It had a thick bar to lock it that stuck out about a foot which hit my in the head. It left a pretty big gash in my head!
  20. Do you think this would be something that would be enjoyable and memorable to people who arn't theme park junkies?
  21. M*A*S*H
  22. Hmm, maybe I'm not seeing what everyone else is seeing, but other than the birthdate how is this any different than a phonebook?
