^Agreed. That and they are probably still deciding on their pricing for 2013. -
I think the real problem with this game was that Syracuse isn't actually close to NYC, so their fans probably didn't care as much for the trip as USC fans making a vacation out of it did. I believe they play ND @ Metlife as well...I'm sure that one will draw more interest from ND fans too.

Got to love our word filters!

^Duffy is INSANELY popular at TDS. We're talking 2+ hour lines to buy limited edition Duffy items at TDS popular, so I think they made the right choice. -
So that "super bowl preview" turned out to be an interesting game.

There's still some new episodes of the show left this season, so I'm hoping for something that will tie into watching an episode.

So the real reason I came to NYC...USC vs. Syracuse! And Metlife field! Which is incredibly bland, but full off all the modern amenities teams need to make a fortune. It's pretty clear they went with function over style, since it had to serve both NY teams. Sight lines are good all around, you can get to it by train (or in our case bus, since so few people came to the game they didn't even run the line), and it's got plenty of bathrooms and food options. But it's basically the modern day equivalent of the cookie cutter stadiums of the 70s. Now onto the photos... This is what all the entrances look like. Nothing exciting. It is lined with LED's to match the color of the home team at night. The parking lot is home to the currently mothballed, but maybe not for much longer amusement park/indoor skiing/mall/whatever complex known as Xanadu This is what the concourses look like. Again, left as plain as possible to be decorated for the home team. The view from our seats. Notice more Cardinal than Orange for a Syracuse "home" game. We purposely got tickets in the coaches club section... ...So we could check out the club. This one is the NY Jets one. Usually its a buffet, but for lowly Syracuse it was just a normal snack stand... ...You also usually would get to see the coaches postgame press conference from the club if this was an NFL game... ...But you do get to "go on the field" (read: an outdoor patio area behind the benches), which was kind of cool. ...and last but not least, you would get to see the players come out of the locker room Oh, and this happened too. Definitely not something I am used to visiting from California!

Skyvue is already in mothball status. They started construction, but it has already come to a halt because they "are waiting on manufacturers from around the world to deliver their parts." -
I really love how they are using their twitter feeds, and I'm glad they are continuing to expand upon them. @DCAToday responding to people with their names on a .jpeg of a piston cup if they say they won their race on Radiator Springs Racer is a nice touch. I'm glad Disney is moving into the modern age and using the internet to its full potential...a far cry from just 5-10 years ago when everything was top secret at Disney and barely any websites were on their media list.

They actually did upgrade the rooms...and the place is still a dump. Just a dump with flatscreen TV's in some of the rooms now! The steakhouse is surprisingly awesome though! -
I think it said January 3rd. Better start hoarding the santa coins now! That's where I am at...I'm only level 12, so I can't even get any more house types yet...so going all in saving up

I've never been disappointed by an EPCOT restaurant (one of the main reasons it is my second favorite Disney park outside of TDS)...this looks to be no exception. -
With all the small schools fighting for just 1 spot in a big money bowl, all bets are off. I think Petrino will be the first of many bigger name coaches turning to small schools to get a second chance.

I own an Android device (Galaxy Nexus), and I definitely enjoy the fact innovation seems to come faster to the platform thanks to it being more open to the developer community to tweak. I really hate the Android vs iOS debate, since at the end of the day all that matters is if the phone works for you. Plus, competition in the market pushes both Apple and Android developers to keep improving their product. However... I'm still 99.9% sure I'm switching to an iPhone. The battery life is definitely worse on android devices, the screens keep getting larger and larger and less ergonomic (this is honestly the biggest dealbreaker---Verizon's flagship Android is approaching mini tablet levels with a 5" screen, so even though it is more powerful than an iPhone you can't even use it with one hand!), and the best apps tend to hit iOS first (such as Tapped Out, which I have to play on my iPod and limits me to my home or hotspots).

The Seahawks just won a divisional game against the worst team in their division 58-0. Close games+bad losses=trouble come playoff time. Eventually they'll run out of miracles if they keep playing sloppy.
