  1. The championship game has me extremely conflicted. Hopefully I will at least have sh*t talking rights over Joe!
  2. Because they got GM to pay for this one!
  3. ^^Agreed. The colors really stand out. Love the variety too. Tornado style and toilet bowl style. Can't wait for the full announcement, and to see the finished product (as if I needed another reason to go to Vegas )
  4. Something else I love about the drawing: the themeing appears to be top notch as well!
  5. Adding those teams would be more style over substance. They would add some competitive football teams to the conference, but they wouldn't add any competitive TV markets. I also don't think they would add much to the "non revenue" sports, something the PAC-12 seems to be big on. One thing is for certain: We're headed towards 4 super conferences. PAC-12, SEC, B1G, and whatever comes together from the ACC/Big East/BIG-XII. Everyone else will be left to fight for their leftovers in terms of TV revenue and bowl arrangements.
  6. ^I honestly wasn't a fan of the enclosed/twisty mat racer slide at SFGAm's waterpark. The slide LOOKED awesome, but the enclosed beginning didn't really do anything. This twist on the mat racer looks like it can make for an airtime filled ending!
  7. ^^I just wonder what version of the Beach Boys will actually be there.
  8. It's an early Chanukah miracle! No more soft zones! As far as realignment goes...if all that happens, once again the PAC-12 gets left behind. There isn't much left on the west coast to add, and with the addition of two more strong schools, the BIG-XII can go back to having a title game and not fear being raided by the PAC-12. Notre Dame has to be forced to the B1G 10 at that point as well.
  9. ^Yup. Always thought that was a cool event. Lots of quirky stuff and its free Mon-Thurs.
  10. ^Agreed. Plus with them changing the theme to the 1930's, aside from Carsland, now there is only so much they can do to keep with the time period.
  11. Only two mentions for The Liquidator (later known as the "edge" and "ledge") at Wild Rivers? That thing was INSANE. You should not have been able to get that much airtime on a bodyslide.
  12. Love all the new concepts your park is bringing to life Shane! That upward portion of the mat slide looks sweet!
  13. I really love what Disney is doing with pixel mapping on the castle. Looks great!
  14. I'll believe it when it is actually open and TPR is visiting on a trip!
  15. This is on the same level as the butterfly "coasters" RCDB counts, so why not this?
  16. I like the sound of that! They found a new company who offered Six Flags a deal they couldn't refuse.
  17. I agree! Sitting in a brake run waiting while in those restraints is not only uncomfortable, but very creepy as well!
  18. Very cool to see how far waterparks have come in the last 10 years! This place looks incredible!
  19. Inversions are probably the least favorite element of enthusiasts. But also the one thing that the GP either loves or is terrified of.
  20. In no particular order.. 1. Chrono Trigger 2. Contra III 3. Super Mario RPG 4. Doom II 5. Starcraft 6. Legend of Zelda: Orcina of Time 7. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 8. Pokemon Red/Blue (could not have survived middle school without this!) 9. Warcraft II 10. Roller Coaster Tycoon
  21. ^Yeah...the whole thing still doesn't add up. I still think a casino deal is coming, and this is all for show.
  22. That's exactly what the purpose of the street car is. It might take away a lane of traffic, but it will also take away employees of all the resort business, businessmen/tourists not having to take their car to the park, disneyland guests have a cheaper alternative to parking (I know I'd be in for paying the trolley fare vs Disney parking since I don't have a premium pass anymore!), and so on.
  23. ^^Congrats on the success of your start-up. Having been part of the test & adjusting for a few rides on the operations side, ride programming has always fascinated me. Too bad I'm not even close to smart enough to make sense of it all. In years I don't get to attend the show, TPR's coverage is by far and away the best around. You can really tell that the companies enjoy talking to TPR!
  24. ^Which is exactly why they do it! Six Flags wouldn't be back in the black making a profit if they didn't cut corners.
