Here's the quandry with the NHL today...it's true that they can't seem to stop giving teams to Southern cities that don't care about Hockey, and it's no boost to attendance or viewership...on the other hand though, they can't really stay where they have been, because as sad as it is for me to say, the North is dying. People keep leaving because they're sick of the cold, and companies keep leaving because of the rising taxes, taking jobs with them, and the only solution Northern leaders can come up with is to keep raising taxes. NHL teams can barely afford to exist in a lot of these cities even more. America today is all about the South, and everyone has to adapt, even the NHL.

Sorry to tell you this buddy, but I doubt those kinds of attractions even allow cameras to go in...if they did, I'd be seeing dozens of them on Youtube now, no doubt.

My car is an '04 Monte Carlo, which I have owned since May of last year. Unfortunately, it recently had a little mishap where part of the front bumper, around the left headlight, got dented and chipped. It costs way too much for me to fix right now, so I'm leaving it alone for now, since the lights themselves still work on that side. The rest of it's fine though, and now I've even thought of a nickname for the thing...Scarface. Pretty close to what mine looks like...

It sounds interesting, but they've been planning this for YEARS. I first heard about this back in 2000. I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm trying really hard right now not to mention anything about love triangles, or adult diapers... Seriously, this sounds interesting. I'm also wondering how similar this will be to Mission Space. MS had more of a fantasy element to it, and from the sounds of it, Kennedy's simulator is trying to go for a bit more realism.

I'm personally not tired of Sidney Crosby, because as a long Suffering Penguins fan, I'm psyched to see that they're finally winning after all this time.

I don't often have dreams that I remember. But it seems fairly common for me to have a dream where I'm back in High School, or usually college. Every time it's the same situation, I know I'm way behind in one or two classes, and I have no clue how to catch up.

From my own experiences, I hereby choose my 10 best rides, again in no particular order... 1. The Haunted Mansion (WDW) I remember this one from my childhood. When I first rode it when i was 5 years old, I cupped my hands over my ears the whole way through, like I always did when I got nervous. The second time around, however, I rode it eagerly, taking in all the spooky sights and sounds with no fear. To this day, it has been a priority destination each time I step inside The Magic Kingdom. 2. Millenium Force The first year of this coaster's operation, I foolishly chickened out and elected not to ride it. The year after though, I finally mustered the courage to go up that goliath of a first hill (no pun intended) and I never looked back. True, my experience with Intamin hypers/gigas is limited to my rides on this and the equally impressive Superman: Ride of Steel at SFDL, but this coaster is still one of the most exhilarating experiences in my life as a park enthusiast. If it's true that there are even better Intamin rides than this now, I can't wait to ride them. 3. Thunderbolt: Kennywood Park Just a great classic woodie, that still has teeth after all these years. Forever known in my family as the coaster that bruised my mom's rib, I see it as a woodie that's rough, but not in the uncomfortable, close to death kind of way that you'll find on a Summers woodie, my Mom's rib notwithstanding. 4. Spaceship Earth Yes, the ride is old, the technology is somewhat antiquated, and the vehicles could use a little grease. Still, this ride has one thing that a lot of Disney rides these days do not: Heart. The effort and time and imagination put into the creation of this wonderful omnimover attraction far outshines the aging technology that sustains it. I can only hope it will be left to stand as a monument to the other fallen attractions of its ilk, like Horizons. 5. Raptor Again, my experience with Beemer inverts is limited, as I've not had a chance to ride any of the ones in Florida, which I hear are terrific. That is why Raptor continues to be my all-time favorite amongst B&M's inverted Efforts, with Alpengeist coming in a close second. It is also one of the few coasters I'm willing to stand in an extremely long line for, which it more often than not has. 6. Space Mountain (WDW) It's not the best coaster I've ever ridden, mind you, not by a longshot. But it has provided one of the best all around themed experiences I've come across in my life. There's just something about going through that long, dark, outer space themed queue before the coaster, that makes me think, "I really AM in Disney World". 7. Conneuat Park's Blue Streak This woodie has the distinction of being the first true roller coaster I ever rode as a child. Once I got off that first ride with my grandparents, I was forever hooked. It's a shame to hear the park hasn't been doing so well in recent years, but at least they're making an effort to keep my first ever coaster alive and running. 8. Kennywood's Jack Rabbit I have to include this one because it was the first coaster my now High School age sister ever rode. She had known about my love of coaster early on, and expressed an interest to ride them ever since she was 3 years old. One day in Kennywood, she got her wish, and even though she was still only about 3 or 4 years old, my parents took her on the Jack Rabbit...she cried after the ride, but it was because the ride had ended! From that point on, I realized that I had created a monster. 9. Any Top Spin ride These rides are just wonderfully twisted and thrilling. Each time I get on one, my heart races. I just love them...oh yeah, and so does my sister. In fact she pulled my onto my first one. 10. The Bumper Cars! No fair or carnival should be without one of these, just as a general rule. It's just one of those things that's fun for all members of the family. [/b]

A Giga would be a good move for Heide, I think. Like others have said, Heide has always been kind of a sleeper park compared to other bigger names in terms of European parks. A high profile coaster for them would mean a chance to truly distinguish themselves, and establish their park among the big boys.

Glad to see Terra Mitica is getting some new stuff. I've seen pics and videos of the place, and if nothing else, it seems very well themed.

The Magic Kingdom's entrance is an all time classic. it never fails to inspire anticipation of the wonders inside the park as the guests get ready to enter through the tunnels. Kennywood has a nice, traditional sort of park entrance as well.

Great TR guys. It's making me wish I was back in WDW now. I've never eaten in the China pavilion, though...I'm wasn't even aware that they had a restaurant, truth be told...here's a tip. Next time you get a chance to eat in EPCOT, make reservations for Mexico's San Angel Inn. Believe me, you'll need them, because it's a fairly popular spot, with good food, and a great overall atmosphere inside the pavilion.

I knew Florida was going to win all along, because I have a special insight into this sport as a long suffering Syracuse fan. College Football today is all about The South...Florida in particular. Ohio State's winning against Miami way back was a fluke, plain and simple. Northern teams barely stand any chance against the mighty SEC and ACC, I'm the first to admit. Why? Warmer weather, plain and simple. It's how these schools get all the best football recruits. But I'm hopeful...they say with global warming, in time, my region's gonna have the same climate as Georgia.

Geez...did this kid do anything to provoke the guy in the suit? Speaking from my work as a grocery clerk, there are plenty of kids these days that deserve a smack or two. Seriously though, it was uncalled for either way.

I'm looking forward to Spiderman 3 too, but I have a feeling it's not going to do as well as the last two installments. People are going to go in expecting venom, and they'll be getting the sandman and Harry Osbourne's goblin instead, with maybe a Venom tease at the very end. It's already been said that they're planning a 4th movie.

I don't get to see enough indoor, space themed coasters outside of Disney's, so this was a real treat for me. Sure it's different...but different is good to me.
