I was at the park for the first time yesterday and got to ride joker. It was unique and fun, but not worth a line any longer than 15 minutes. It is just completely outshined by some of the park's other coasters. (NTG, Titan, Shockwave). Speaking of which, there was a power outage yesterday morning that had all the rides closed until around noon. Is that frequent or normal?

My guess is it will be a clone of Freedom flyer/Kvasten, which is Vekoma. But an Intamin would be just as good!

I got 3. Luckily, I'm going to several new parks this year so I'll be getting that number up!

To make it worse, vekoma is using their 1st generation trains and the track will be bright pink and purple. Worlds of Fun bought Zambezi zinger back from Parque del Cafe.

I've only been on two, but here they are. 1. Patriot (WOF)- this is a very smooth ride, the first drop is wonderful, and even has some floater airtime. 2. Batman the ride (SFSTL)- this is just as smooth as patriot and has better theming, but for some reason I just did not enjoy the corkscrews. Make no mistake, this ride is great, but they just felt too snappy and out of place.

My home park is Adventureland. Usually only the raging river and monster have a line, so I usually go to Monster.

I might be alone on this one, but I really want to know what sort of attraction We bare bears will get. I'll definitely be watching this thread!

Adventureland (Iowa) 1. Monster-great smooth coaster, love the hang time on the loop and the first drop 2. Tornado-decent airtime and not too rough 3. Outlaw- about as rough as tornado but only airtime on first drop 4. Underground- fun but barely even a coaster 5. Dragon- rough and over the shoulder restraints

That theory sounds like something that belongs on the KD Discussion Thread In what way? I'm genuinely curious.

I think it that it should be pointed out that no concept art for the new entrance has been released yet, so we may get a roller coaster that interacts with the entrance like how Gatekeeper and Fury 325 do.

It definitely should be resurrected. To the best of my understanding, S&S took over what was left of Arrow. Maybe they have the rights and blueprints to make a 2nd gen suspended coaster.

In Captain America: the first avenger, Steve Rogers (Captain America) mentions that when he and his friend Bucky were kids, Bucky made him ride the Coney Island Cyclone and he threw up. I thought that was pretty funny coming from a superhero. I also liked that the statement was also historically accurate. The cyclone would have been brand new when they were kids. I can even picture that story in my mind.

Patriot at Worlds of fun

I an Joel and I am from Omaha Nebraska. My home park is Funplex but I consider it to really be Adventureland in Iowa. I have been on 37 coasters. Other than roller coasters and amusement parks I enjoy writing stories and sharing them with friends and family.
