  1. I like dive machines. They need to be developed to do more, and Oblivion is in this modern age quite basic, but I like them. They are by far the most intimidating rides out there. People keep criticizing Oblivion for being too short, but it was made almost 20 years ago now! It is one of the best prototype roller coasters in the world.
  2. I met Jedward. Make of that what you will.
  3. I read that somewhere too, and I would not be surprised if they did sell them to other companies.
  4. 10/10, it gave an annoying person in my D of E partner the s**ts, so he could not finish! However I am a vegge, so have never tried it. Religion
  5. Many people do not know you can spell jail like gaol and it is completely correct! There are other ones like American people spell colour, color, and in my mind that just sounds like collar. Anyway, post your spelling confusions below, and the next person says how they would spell it and if they agree. I will start it off with gaol.
  6. ^ I really like it. It looks really cool and I like the look of how the track is so twisty, yet still reasonably realistic.
  7. No, but I do like scare mazes. Do you like scare mazes
  8. NOT THE BLEEP TEST!!!! NOOOOOOO!
  9. The first thing which came to mind was Colossus (both ones, but mainly the Thorpe park one). It could be great! So much potential, so much rattling and rust!
  10. ^ Yes, that is why I am warning people that it is not worth it. I was quite pi$$ed off when I got mine, because I wanted something to do with roller coasters and was not rude, like "I prefer to mate over donkeys than human" or something like that! But hey, if the powers that be think I am annoying, then hey! I have tried not to be as annoying though now. My lesson is don't annoy the title fairy in this thread or others before you get a title.
  11. Stuck on a ship they are quarantine ing it, as a vomiting bug has spread through the ship.
  12. I think the title fairy is not giving you a title on purpose as he knows it would be creweler to ignore you and not give you even a sucky one! If you read the rules you can see that Robb is very busy, so just ask once and wait.
  13. Nice photos! Thanks for them, it really helped me see what elements that roller coaster has. I like the look of the extended loop which should provide some nice hang time.
  14. Flat log flumes are dank. Build it inside a mountain structure or on a real hillside, but not on flat ground. "dank" dank- adjective: wet and cold in a way that is unpleasant. If I'm going to be wet and cold on a log flume I'd rather it be fun. Flat ground is unpleasant. But urban dictionary says "an expression requently used by stoners and hippies for something of high quality" In that case all log flumes are dank. If you combine both of the definitions, I think it does almost cover all log flumes.
  15. You have just names some great coasters! How could you put any of them under the category of 'worst'?
  16. We all really want to see an opening date. They say it will come may, but at this rate it will probably be something like this... 28th of may
  17. The Smiler broke down last year, and broke down a lot before the accident too. However Samurai and Slammer comes to mind.
  18. It was due to the suspension on the trains and wheel layout I think. If it went vertical, it would put far too much stress on the part of the track where the train lands back on the track. This would have made the ride more rough. I think I read it in JW's auto biography and Wikipedia.
  19. I would say Adventure Island is quite good. Rage is very good.
  20. So, does anyone know if Valravn get to vertical on the first drop? Form some angles it looks just off, but I thought the new trains (all others except oblivion's) could reach vertical no problem.
  21. Inferno at terra mittica
  22. The best example for me as to how roughness ruins a ride, go on Colossus at Thorpe Park at the front (smooth) and back (rough as hell) . In the front it is an amazing coaster, one of the best I have been on, but anywhere else and it is completely awful. You get cramps in your arms from trying to stop the harness punching you in the face the whole ride. However, it is untameable and I came off with a headache. I know what you mean by roughness adding to the experience, and it can do, but there is a limit.
