Are all the coasters new, or are some taken from other parks and added in there?

It does not actually, it just gives afew details of the ride, which is good, like how the train looks. They are only a very small bit spoilery, but it is worth a read.

^ Just to be 100% clear, form what I have gathered on this thread, the situation at the moment is that it is not getting ripped down, but it is ripping itself down by going at a million miles an hour, and they don't know how to get the speed down. Dollywood are claiming that is is due to new technology, but it has been around for many years now and has never caused so many problems. Oh year and also, #itll never happen

I have been on a few rides in the rain, but I have also been lucky a few times, like on Nemesis Inferno. It was raining the whole time that I was in the queue, until I was in the station. The great thing was that I did not have to ride in the rain, and it was going super fast. Only on really fast rides (60mph+) is rain painful.

There have been coasters in the past which were designed for their own country's standards but did not pass in the UK. Then they have to completely get rid of the coaster. This happened at blackgang Chine.

Also, a hamburger is made of meat just in case you were about to ask if a hamburger is vegetarian. I thought it could be quorn style, in that it was a fungus, made to look like meat.

^The problem with Rush is that it often gets quite a big queue during summer (60min+). Normally, I would say if you have never been on it, it is worth the wait, but seriously, this season, I would not wait over 15 minutes for it. You would get a better thrill from a decent sized pirate ship. At least Slammer is running well this season though.

Why do you call the Vekoma family suspended coasters SLC's? It does not make sense, and they are not looping! It should be called a Vekoma SFC.

Talking about bruise-inducing airtime, what do you think of the type offered by Euro fighters like Speed and Saw? Is that more your type of airtime thet you like? To be honest I have never been bruised by airtime

In non Derren related news, Rush has been running really badly this year. I know over winter they did some server maintenance work on it, which basically meant taking it to pieces. However, this year both arms don't even reach vertical, and this DOES affect the ride. Normally Rush and other S@S swings are really intense and have tonnes of airtime. I had none of this, and actually thought (I never thought I would say this) it was boring. Does anyone know if this was done deliberately to reduce costs or if it is being resolved, because I am sad that such a good ride is ruined.

They should run it at 90, even with the added costs. It will be awesome at that speed! "Will someone please think of the airtime." #illneverbeawesome
